Great looking set with QC issue

I just received this set a few weeks ago. The flatware itself is gorgeous and has a nice weight to it, making it feel balanced. However, when eating dinner tonight, I noticed a shard of metal came loose after it cut my finger. Upon inspection, it appears the other side of this fork may end up having the same issue. I checked the other forks, which appear to be fine. After I hear back from customer support about a replacement, I'll come back to update my rating and review.

Attractive

The knives do not do well in the dishwasher and have to be polished. My set came with a damaged teaspoon, and Customer Service sent a replacement.

Different Size & Markings

I've had Oneida Juilliard flatware for 15 years - these pieces are slightly different from the originals purchased from Macy's ... size and markings are not the same but close enough. Good price

Feels cheap!!! Not heavy weight at all!

I am so very disappointed in this flatware!! I wanted a nice pretty, sturdy set of flatware for entertaining. This is not it! I paid 50% more for the Oneida Julliard flatware compared to the Oneida Countess flatware, I purchased last month. The Countess flatware is heavier and feels much more worth the $$. Sending it back!

Horrible quality

I own a 30 year old set of the same pattern, but Oneida has since been purchased by another company, and the quality went with it. The knives aren’t well balanced and the pattern looks sloppily pressed and feels weak. The price is outlandish considering I wouldn’t buy this quality to serve guests in a greasy spoon diner, let alone at my own dinner table. (I am a former restaurant operator, both low and high quality - so I know from where I speak.)
