receive new. it’s showing slight bend in support bar will that affect trolling?

Planer kept triping

Nothing is wrong with the planer itself. I expected it to be able to run at much faster speeds for wahoo etc with my lures and leader, but it wouldn't go past 6kt. Too much drag. A 4" skirt and seawitch with bonito strip would trip the planer. So I'm a bit disappointed. Need a much larger size.
