Used this to fix my St!hl Forestry Hardhat

St!hl doesn't sell just the ratchet assembly for my hard hat and I'm not spending $125 on a whole new hardhat. This product has a nearly identical ratchet assembly to mine so for about $10 I fixed my $125 hardhat simply by removing the ratchet assembly and transferring it to my strap assembly. Unfortunately the adjusting screw on the replacement is bonded together instead of screwed together like the St!hl, hence the 4 stars. Other than that, it is identical

Went inside my Texas Hard Hat but one of the attachments wasn't as tight as it should be but it still works.

Good fit. Exact match for previous liner.

Looks like an exact match for the previous Vulcan hat liner. Made by Vulcan. Perfect fit. Much prefer the 3 strap(6 point) over the standard 2 strap (4 point). Will by again.

Fits perfect in the hard hat I purchased (Cowboy style) and adjusting to my head was as expected!

The only thing I disliked was having to purchase it separately from my hard hat. This should be an automatic insert that comes with the order. It’s not explained in the description of the hard hat as a separate item.
