Best Oakely Sunglasses I've owned yet

I know, I've heard the negative comments about the move to China and change in craftsmanship, but I honestly think they are on par with any pair I've bought over the past 25 years. The lens quality is excellent. I went from old 90's E Wires to the Whisker to the Square Wires. I will miss the tear drop styling of the old ones from a fashion standpoint, but from a functional standpoint your getting much better coverage and I get much less light in from the edges. They contour my face perfectly. They do weigh slightly more than the Whisker, 30 grams to 26, but for that 4 grams your getting more lens. The optics in my Black Iridium Polarized lens is crystal clear. Oakley quality is just awesome, my Whiskers still have great optics 9 years after purchase wearing them several times a week. The frames seem very light but sturdy and enough wire bend to contour and bend. I would highly recommend anyone that liked E wires to give them a try. Maybe they are not for everyone, but they make a great set for driving, sports or just about anything on the beach on a bright sunny day. Maybe too dark for every situation but that's why I have my Maui Jims.

Always have been my favorite glasses, however, they like so many things are made in China. Trying very hard to buy all USA made products.

Still good enough quality

At the very beggar you can notice it is not the great quality it used to be for this brand. Still good enough spending money on this brand. I always loved the polarized because it helps me a lot while driving, and that is still the same.

Just Wondering!

I recently bought Oakley sunglasses. Don't they usually come with a certificate of authenticity and warranty? I just didn't see them in the box that they came in. .

Great glasses poor “shipping” box.

I have bought this model before and still love it. This item is shipped in an unusually weak box. This box would normally be used in a lager box. It was crushed inside the shipping envelope. So far it does not appear that there is any damage to the sunglasses.

Extremely comfortable

I tried to buy these glasses or a similar pair several years back on in flight duty free but they had been taken out of the new brochure, so I was pleased to find this pair by chance and have not been disappointed. Only criticism is that for the price they come in a cloth bag and I have had to buy a hard case as well

The quality not the same anymore.

Few years ago I had the same sunglasses, they were my favourite. So ordered these ones, turns out, the quality is not the same anymore, the frame looks cheap, with an ink stamp on it says China and they ship them in a very weak boxe, so they can be damaged easily in transit. Paying over 200$ for a pair of glasses, I think they should pay a little bit of respect and ship it in a proper box.

Fits my face

As I have a slim face this is one of few designs that fits me after bending them a little. I prefer polarized glasses so that's another plus. Only minus is that they are a bit expensive.
