Favorite cup

Love the cup. Almost leak proof. It will leak if it's thrown, but not a lot. Perfect for cup training. Only issues for me was I ordered the red cup to customize for my son and I was sent a hot pink cup.

these would be good for older toddlers, they spill and leak terribly though so knocked over is spilled.

Not Totally Leakproof, But Close!

Yes, some liquid will come out of this cup if it’s upside down/sideways long enough. But as far as training cups go (vs. screw top supply cups/the like) this is pretty damn leakproof. I begrudgingly purchased the Munchkin 360 cup a few months ago bc I couldn’t find anything plain/neutral/less obnoxiously bright with the same level of positive feedback. And while the Munchkin cup has worked out fairly well, there are a couple of things I prefer about the Nuby. 1. When my 10 month old throws the Munchkin cup on the ground it tends to dump quite a bit of water on impact — this has not been an issue with the Nuby. Not usually more than about a nickel sized little drip, if any spillage at all. 2. The plain clear cup on the Nuby is WAY MORE aesthetically pleasing IMO. (In case Nuby is reading this, the only thing that would make it better is a more neutral/earth tone palette for the lids/handles.) 3. The Nuby lid is one piece & much easier to clean + the transparent cup makes it much easier to see that there isn’t mold growing/when it is empty. 4. The Nuby has a cover for the lid and REMOVABLE handles — allowing it to still be used with the 360 lid when my son no longer needs the handles. Potential Cons: 1. If you hold the cups upside down — the Nuby does appear to leak faster than the Munchkin. So if that’s something that would be an issue for you then this may not be the right cup for you. 2. Water seems to come out of the Nuby a little quicker. My son has been fine adjusting to this, but if he hadn’t already been using the Munchkin cup (and gotten used to/pretty good with it) I think he would be spilling a ton of water. So this may not be the best option for a younger baby who hasn’t tried any sort of cup yet. Honestly though, I ordered this cup last week and we’ve loved it so much that I just ordered a second one.
