LOVE but please change the packaging

I have been using this lotion since I discovered it about 10 years ago in Whole Foods. The formula used to be thinner, so it was easier to get out of the bottle. I love that it is thicker, and it moisturizes my skin perfectly. BUT, now that it is so thick, it doesn't come out of the bottle after you use about half. I have tried everything, leaving the bottle upside down, warming it, shaking it etc, and nothing works. I finally cut the bottle in half and scooped it out into a jar. I will continue to order, I'm a lifer, and it's totally worth the extra effort. It is a truly great lotion with a beautiful scent, and I love supporting this founded in Harlem, black-owned business. But please consider a glass, wide-mouthed jar instead of a bottle!

Obsessed

I found this stuff when I was in the Caymans. I have been obsessed ever since. I run out and use other stuff and nothing compares. I always come back to this lotion. I like the verivier scent too.

Best lotion ever

I buy it because there are no chemicals, it is thick, moisturizes, and smells amazing! The packaging sucks, though. You can hardly get it out of the bottle. I end up cutting the bottle and putting it in an old face cream jar. Wish they could figure out a better way to package it, bigger mouth?

Overpowering Scent

I had read the reviews and people seemed to love the scent, so I decided to order it. The smell is so overpowering and not pleasant in my opinion; my partner felt the same way and actually asked me to get away from her. Scent aside, the lotion does leave your skin feeling soft but I feel like it doesn’t rub in as well as I would’ve expected and it feels a bit tacky for a while after applying. Overall, love their body wash but their lotion is not for me. Seeing as reviews for their other lotions also seem to state overpowering scents, I will not be purchasing any more lotions from Nubian, which is sad because their body wash is amazing.

This product is thick, moisturizing and has a fantastic smell. It's kind of messy to apply but works like a charm. Go purchase it haha.
