Smaller micron rating than any baloney 3M rating scale.

Pros: I bought this because (at the time of writing and shopping around online) 3M's filtration scale only goes to around MERV 11 or 12, and a lot of important airborne particles can flow through their lower quality products. This filter does not restrict the flow much more than a cheap-o MIRV 5 filter. Cons: This filter is not as stiff or as sealed around the edges as I would like, but it is still good for the value. Occasionally I find that improper sealing leads to the HVAC pulling in unfiltered dirty air from around the square filter. We are still waiting for an acceptably priced ULPA filter to replace our outdated 'True' HEPA systems. P.S. If these or a higher filtration filter media like MERV 13 to 16 restrict your airflow, multiply the number of intake vents that you can place filters in with a DIY drywall and framing project or get an HVAC contractor to do it. A fully trussed filter frame on the intake side of the HVAC blow can handle up to 5 filter surfaces, or less if you want it to be easier to access.

Very Good Quality and Performance

I purchased 12 filters (one per month) and they filter very well. Changed out one filter and examined how well it filtered the dust/pollen/etc. and it did a very good job catching all the debris. Will purchase again next year. And they are a great price.

Will fit, but are smaller in size

They work, are well built but are on the smaller side on length and width. I had to pull the tabs on the air filter holder all the way out to secure. I will probably buy another filter brand when I complete using these and get one that better fits the filter holder.

Dimensions matter, read the fine print, these are not really 24x24 in size but smaller

When searching for products on Amazon I normally type in exactly what I need. In this case, I needed a 24x24 filter size for my furnace so that's what I searched for. After installing these units, I noticed that it seemed to be out of place and the air handler had sucked it into the opening. After closer inspection, I realized these are not really 24x24 but 23 1/4 x 23 1/4. That makes a big difference when your opening is specifically sized for 24". I looked closer and the product and it's indeed printed on the label that it's actual dimensions are not that as advertised. It's my mistake for not looking closer but beware if you have an opening that requires 24" filters. I do recommend this brand of filter as they work really well, just wish I had paid closer attention to the actual size.

I have received my filters but I am somewhat disappointed with this order. The box contained the three filters (right size) but they looked like no-name filter with no indication that they were NP Nordic Pure.

Great filters for the money

These work great in our non-standard AC/Heat unit. Not individually wrapped, so saves a pile of plastic (Filtrete are you listening) and a great price.
