Lightweight Anti-Aging Cream

Since I’ve started applying this Nip + Fab Hyaluronic Acid Gel Cream onto my face as part of my skincare routine, I’ve noticed that my skin is starting to look a bit firmer, fresher and more youthful in appearance. It’s still early days as I’ve only been using it for two weeks, but I do hope it will keep my skin looking and feeling its best with regular use. The Hyaluronic Acid is a great ingredient in this moisturising cream, and when applied on the face it does feel super nourishing and hydrating for the skin - an important element that helps to make skin look younger. It also contains Polyglutamic Acid which is included to help skin look and feel its most radiant. I feel it’s the combination of these two ingredients that are already helping to keep the fine lines and wrinkles at bay, especially as part of my daily cleansing/toning/moisturising routine. The moisturiser is lightweight and nice to apply, it doesn’t feel super heavy either. I’m not so keen on the scent of this cream though, it has a slightly ‘medical’ smell about it that I can’t quite pinpoint but doesn’t smell how I would imagine it to be. The packaging feels fresh and minimal so is attractive to use and definitely stands out compared to other moisturising creams I have used.

Hydrating Cream

This product is the Nip + Hyaluronic Fix Extreme4 Hybrid Gel Cream which uses a blend of four hydration ingredients to provide ultimate hydration to your skin and effectively maintain moisture levels. These ingredients help with signs of aging and boost and retain skin hydration. It is nicely packaged and comes in a 50ml jar. It is easy to use, I apply it to my face and neck after cleansing, toning and adding serum. It goes on smoothly and feels nice on your skin. I like that it doesn’t take too long to be absorbed into your skin and so you don’t have to wait a long while before applying make-up etc. it is not at all oily and doesn’t leave any residue. There is no fragrance to it, which I find a shame as I really like nicely scented products. Having said that, I can understand that having fragrance doesn’t appeal to everybody and it is probably better for sensitive skin this way. It is still early days but I can see an improvement in my skin. I am not at the point of “revealing a luminous complexion” but hopefully if I continue to use this I will go some way towards that. For now, I am pleased with this cream which definitely makes your skin feel soft and hydrated but to see the full results may take a bit longer. I think the price is fair as this is a good quality cream from a brand that I really like.

Love Nip + Fab

I really like Nip + Fab as a skincare brand. Although slightly pricey, their products rarely disappoint. This Hyaluronic Acid product is a hydrating gel/cream hybrid that's 2% HA. It arrives in a hard jar, nicely boxed. It has light to no scent which is good for sensitive skin. The cream is thick and white without any sticky feeling to it. It blends in well to the face and immediately feels moisturising. Again, it settles into the pores quickly without any stickiness. It does have a slightly oily finish due to it being very moisturising, but not overly oily. Upon application my face feels really smooth and soft to the touch, really silky. It's great to apply under the eyes as well to help blur any thin lines. This is great to layer on at night before bed, but also to wear as a moisturiser during the day, including applying under makeup. My foundation blends well without any separating whilst wearing this cream underneath. My foundation applies smoothly and less cracking/thin lines due to my skin being extra moisturised. I've experienced no irritation or spots from using this cream. This is another great HA moisturiser hybrid from Nip + Fab!

Decent anti-ageing cream

This is a good quality anti-ageing cream which arrives nicely packaged in a quality cardboard box giving it an instant premium feel. This is continued with the glass container. The consistency of the cream itself is neither thick nor particularly thin, but somewhere in between, which makes it just right to make it easy to apply. It feels pleasant on the skin and, in my experience at least, appears to be okay with sensitive skin (however, that will depend on the individual I imagine). The cream can be applied morning and evening. Does it work though? That's the important question. I can't be absolutely sure. I received it as a Vine item, so have to post a review within a certain time period - unfortunately, that doesnt give me long enough to be able to provide a definitive conclusion. At £24, it's very expensive - it's a lot to pay for something that may not have any effect - but what I can say is that it definitely works as a moisturiser. If you can afford it, it's worth a try.

Strong chemical smell

It has a similar texture to snail slime creams since it stretches a bit, but more creamy. It made my skin feel bouncy/plump and soft. It has a chemical, slightly unpleasant scent to it, very artificial weak floral scent perhaps. A small dip into the pot, can be used for my hole face and then a little pea for my neck. So the cream can last you for a while. I found the cream to be lightweight on my face and neck, with no slippery/ greasy feeling, but on my hands it feels a bit greasy. The greasy feeling does fully go away even after trying to distribute it around more from my hands though, so it's not too bad. For around £24 for 50ml, I do not think it is worth the price for the small pot of it, when moisturisers are meant to make your skin feel soft and plump. Many moisturisers with lower prices has the same effect from what I feel, and with more volume too. So I suggest looking elsewhere first and making sure to understand what active ingredients do what, to get a good deal.
