As great as flap discs at the big store

I am a woodcarver and sometimes go thru 2-3 of these a day. The similar quality ones at the store are $12-$15 each. I was able to get 10 of these for the price of 1. I will continue to buy this exact brand, as long as the quality continues

Lasts a long time and does the job well! These are far better than the ones sold at the big box stores and far cheaper!

A litte more agressive

I had been buying Forney discs at the local hardware store. They are more expensive and the store was out. These discs work well but are a more cource grit. I'm ok with that for my application but just an observation if you are used to another brand. I am using 80 grit.

Wear faster than quality brands.

I've only used one, but notice it is wearing faster than the name brands I've used. Still I think the price is good enough to make this a good deal.

Good value for what you pay

I wasn't expecting much of these since they only cost $2 each but they worked well for what I needed. They do wear out quite quickly though. I was sanding rust spots off of my utility trailer so I could repaint it. Initially they worked well, taking the rust down to bare metal. But after sanding for about 5 minutes you could see that they were starting to wear out. If you want something that's going to last a long time, these aren't it. But like I said, it's a good value at only $2 each and they do work well.

Great Value. Better than big box store

Used the 40 grit for removing surface rust for a classic car restoration. Abrasive held up well and left a smooth finish.

Bee’s knees

These sum bitches are better than my grinding wheels. They clean up the metal nicely for welding and also if you are a crap welder like me you can fix your mistakes. I need to hide my mistakes because my husband is so judgmental on my welding.....but here’s a fun fact....it’s a good think he isn’t welding for a living because we’d starve!!!! Totes would recommend these things unless you’re name is Frank....if your name is Frank then keep using your awesome grinding wheels.....you know who you are....eye rolls!!!!

Worked Well for Resurfacing Inside of Aluminum Rims

I had chromed aluminum wheels that were corroding and peeling which caused the stick on wheel weights to break free. I decided to use these flap discs to remove the loose chrome. They worked well and the 120 grit was aggressive enough to remove the chrome and not too coarse as to gouge the aluminum. Since this was on the inside of the wheel I wasn't too concerned too much about the finish, but after I painted them the surface looked very good. I used 3 discs to finish the 4 wheels because they would gum up slightly with aluminum (not a problem with the disc, but the medium I was using them for). Much more affordable than going to the local hardware store.

Sharpening Mower Blades

I bought these to clean off some rust off metal plates and also sharpen my mower blades. I bought 40 grit and so far I am happy with results. when using a new disc I can say that it worked well, question is how long they last, I am not there yet. They did a great job of cleaning metal and sharpening dull blades, I recommend buying them, great buy

Best Flappers on Amazon

I go through a ton of flap discs weekly, these guys seem to last longer and is priced better than any other flapper I have used. Just need to add a subscribe and save model!

Bought for Christmas stocking, husband is very happy with overall quality, better then any he had purchased from the auto store etc. Would buy again.
