Nice thick mat but doesn't stop shedding

I purchased this mat about 2 months ago (Nov 19) and since that time it has never stopped shedding. As you can see from the picture the fibers don't stay bound to the rest of the mat well. The mat is much thicker than most and looks nice out of the packaging, but I'm tired of finding pieces of mat all through our entryway. This mat is more pricey than most others which makes me say I would pass on it and try something else. About my rating: 5 stars – Exceeds all expectations. Better than the competition in all aspects, design, cost, operation, and support (A+). 4 stars – Nicely done. Better than the competition and solves the problem. (B) 3 stars – Works as expected. Has some shortcomings but gets the job done. Might be short in design, cost, longevity, or support. (C). 2 stars – Falls short of expectations and needs improvement. Pass and look elsewhere. (D) 1 star – Fails miserably. Does not get the job done, might even make things worse. Someone at the company should be fired. (F)

No Bleeding, Little Shedding, Stands up to Rain

Coir Doormats are so hard. The cheap ones from Target always stain because they have that metal inside. This is a thick doormat that looks LUXURIOUS (no interior metal) that I expect to last quite a while! (yes I just called a doormat luxurious) My door has a slight overhang so it gets protected from some rain, but we recently had a tropical storm come through and drop 9+ inches of rain. This thing is still going strong. It does shed a bit, but that doesn't bother me. I think that will lessen with time (kind of like wool rugs). Anyways I am really glad I bought it would do it again. Surviving tropical storms, daily stroller rolling, I am in.

Very worth the money

I am very pleased with this door mat. The quality and the durability of it is just immaculate! This mat is going to be around for a long time.

Think again before buying

The mat is shedding so much hair (of small pieces of fiber) actually so much that the dyson that was used to clean the floor under and around the rug actually got plugged and stopped working. Another issue is that the rug is very very thick- so thick that it feels like you are having a step before the front door. Vey disappointed. A cleaning disaster (usually door mat are to reduce the amount of dirt before the entrance)

The quality for the price point is really good. The mat is thick and the border looks nice.

Great Quality

This is very thick (thicker than it looks in photos) and tight "knit". Very sturdy and firm. Would buy this mat again in a second.

It's actually very thick, but is poorly made and shedding so bad I'll have to throw it away. disappointed and waste of money
