Super Tight!!

I hated taking off one star, because as far as ankle support goes, this one is fine. Nothing spectacular, it just does what it's made to do. I am a female with a size 7 narrow foot, with average sized legs and a very small ankle. This product was so incredibly tight that I had to cut the elastic on both ends in order to comfortably wear it! I would argue that someone with a wide foot, large or inflamed ankles, or heaven forbid a larger calf would be unable to wear this at all. And I doubt that anyone male except maybe those who haven't reached adolescence yet would be able to wear them. I purchased this because I've always had positive experiences with this brand, but this one... Not so much.

Great support for your ankle

I can not believe how well this works! When I first put it on it seemed too tight. Then about a minute later it was like - ahhhhhhhh- perfect. Made a huge difference in my foot pain almost immediately. I highly recommend this if you need support or pain relief!

These have great compression for my broken ankle

These are nice and tight. I'm still recovering from a broken ankle so I got these to kind of hold everything together after I got the cast off. These are comfy to wear during the day but too tight to sleep.in. they fir fi e with shoes. As far as value goes they should come in a pair but they don't.

Very tight

I like this ankle brace, however, its very tight and obnoxious to put on. I purchased the size from women's 8 - 12, I wear an 8.5 in women's shoes and can just barely pull this on. If you have any larger feet than a women's 8.5 I would not buy this as you probably won't even be able to pull it on. If your foots a bit smaller this size will work great. It feels great aside from getting it on and is just barely not to tight for me to not cut off my circulation. Its thinner than my other one so I am able to wear it in my tennis shoes. Update: I changed it to 2 stars because the more I have tried to use it, the less I have wanted to. I can't wear tennis shoes with it and have to wear either unsupportive ugg type boots or moccasins with this brace and then I can still barely get it on.

Save my foot and ankle.

Before these I would almost be in tears when walking. After relaxing for around 4 hours I was able to walk around the house without tiptoeing and holding on to stuff.

I can walk, no pain, no limp!

I have chronic pain in my talus region ( front top of the foot/ankle where foot and shin meet) that makes me difficult to walk barefoot. I sometimes get pain even with athletic shoes on. I was looking for ankle support products and I ordered this along with other open heel-ed products. I left a review on the highly ranked open heel-ed muay thai sleeve which was disappointing. This is the winner for the great support in my desired area: talus region and ankle all around, yet gentle on my skin and no adverse blood circulation constriction. The moment I put this on, I felt no pain and was able to walk on my barefoot like a normal person. I kept this on all night and my toes were warm and pink, not to mention that I was able to walk normal without pain for several trips to bathroom and kitchen, etc. I wear women's size 9 in athletic shoes and this S/M fits well. I placed an order for 3 more of this to wear both feet and back up for washing. Truly wonderful product and I highly recommend this to people who have similar problems.

It helped stabilize and prevent swelling while I was working out. I developed Achilles tendinitis and found it difficult to wear heels, running shoes, boots etc... By the end of the day my foot would be so swollen and in pain. This support was very light, but helped prevent any swelling throughout the day, but also added support while I was working out. It was so thin I could wear it with any shoe. Hopefully I won't have to buy another one, but if I do, I would probably get this again.
