Size Purchased: 28W, 30L TL;DR: Sturdy, lightweight material, great fashion. Groin to waist is too tight; hard to comfortably fit wallet, phone, etc in pockets. Not worth $70. I purchased these about two months ago, and I have been wearing them approximately twice a week. First, let me discuss the quality. Though they are on the light-weight side, they feel sturdy and should not tear or fray easily. They certainly have that high-quality, not going to fall apart yet light feel. On the subject of quality, I shall briefly mention fashion. They look great. Nice upgrade to jeans, but still allows you to have the option to do a recreational activity without changing out of your slacks. Second, is sizing. I am pretty skinny so it is hard to find good quality pants under a 30W. I purchased a size 28W, 30L and while the waist fits me good, the groin area is extremely tight. The designers need to raise the waist up so the pants do not feel like they are sitting right on top of the buttocks (instead of above the hipbone). I have gotten used to it, but on hot day's a gentleman's sensitive area may get very uncomfortable. This also makes it difficult to fit wallet, phone, keys, random stuff, etc in your pockets, and they bulge out. The pockets could also have used so more material to fit larger wallets. Finally, the price. Simply put, they are not worth. I paid $70 dollars for these, and while they are good quality, I do not believe it is commensurate of the price tag. If you willing to spend that amount of money on a pair of "casual, nicer than jeans," hiking pants, I would spend few dollars more and get something nicer.
