Perfect match to replace 12 year old grab bars.

Had to replace originals as high lime content ate up original ones after 12 years. Was happy to find exact match. Hope these last as long.

Classiest safety bar I've ever seen!!!

We recently had our bathroom remodeled and ordered this safety bar to match the oil rubbed bronze fixtures. I was pleasantly surprised by this product, which quickly became my favorite fixture in the shower. It is beautifully made, sturdy for safety, and far surpasses the normal "safety rail" you see in baths. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants class as well as safety. It is amazing!!

Poor quality control

The mounting flanges did not fit flush with my tile walls. They are not adjustable so I had to dissemble each end and drill larger holes for the internal Allen bolts. This fixed the problem but there was no QC check on these handles when they left the factory. It was obvious that the units were not correct. I believe these were made in China.

Poor attachment unit

One would think that for the money Moen charges for their products they would come up with a better attachment device. By the time you get this thing installed you will have messed up the finish so bad you will wish you hadn't started. The whole unit has to be attached at the same time. They don't even include a template for you to use when drilling the holes. To install the unit you first move the cover plates back so you can get at the attachment unit. Make sure the finish isn't scratched by the plates. Cover everything with painters tape and then tape the plates so they don't get in your way. Mark where to drill through the attachment plates, drill your holes. Use diamond drill bits if going through any wall tile. Be very careful when marking as you will only get one shot if going through tile..... here is where a template would come in real handy, but nooooooo, the great Moen company can't provide that. Next, predrill for the screws after you get through the wall tile. While you're spending more money at the store for the diamond drill bit get one of those extra long phillip screw drivers for your drill. Otherwise you're going to scratch the heck out of the Grab Bar. Moen should be ashamed of themselves for putting out such a sh.....y product.
