Directions in spanish thankfully i can translate

The directions on the box and instruction sheet all in Español smh not a greatgrip bar for the tub when i assembled the device its not leveled i will look into another one preferably a plastic one not this metal one where the rubber part shreds wjen attaching to the tub side ridiculous

Great safety bar (edited)

One of the two clamps was tight on the tub wall, but the other one was loose and the little knob on the clamp was not firmly attached and the bolt to tighten the clamp spun around without tightening. The safety bar was not able to be attached firmly and was simply loose on the side of the tub. It would have been great if not for being defective. edit: I was wrong! the little white knobs are actually caps and you can snap off the top to grab the bolts with the included wrench to tighten the clamps on the tub. I didn't realize that and have now given this item 5 stars. The instructions don't say the white knobs can have the tops snap off the head of the bolt to tighten it. This is actually excellent. When you get this, be aware the white knobs have a top that will snap off to get to the top of the tightening bolts.

Great grab rail

This rail worked the best on my jacuzzi tub. I tried another style and this one works the best.

I have suffered from Fibromyalgia for 35 years. I had to take early retirement from college teaching when I was 57. Since then, I've managed on my own, but over the past few months, I began to feel insecure in the shower and pulling myself out of a bath. I looked and looked for models which fit my requirements at this stage. I'm a healthy 70 year old, despite having to deal with deep pain. When I found this low profile safety bar by Moen, and I read the reviews, I knew I had to see if it could help me. Yes. This purchase was a great one. Now I can go have a soothing soak whenever I need to. And I don't have to feel afraid I'll not feel secure. Hooray! This safety bar fits my tub perfectly, and as I was adjusting/installing it I could see that it could have fit a wide variety and size of bathtub. The installation was simple - I didn't even need to look at the instructions, but if you need to they are clear and in many languages. The safety bar is strong, seems well made, and handsome. I made a wise choice, and I think you will be happy with your purchase. BTW, I saved some money by buying from Amazon Warehouse. And, as always, I got a brand new item, but perhaps one which some other customer took out of the box and put it back into the box, then Amazon picked it up. Soooo The only way you can tell this is not brand new is the extra tape on the end of the original Moen box. The actual item itself is gorgeously brand new. I try to buy Amazon Warehouse as much as possible. Sometimes items are $10 less, sometimes a full 50% or more!

Nice put won't tighten enough

Nice but won't tighten enough ..even with the wrench ...not sure if my width too small or tub on an angle

Too short

Bought this to get in and out of our deep tub. It works but I wish I would have gotten one that is higher. But it is sturdy and helps me get up and out.

Moen 7010 home tub bar

So easy to install. My landlord said he can’t install safety bars so this was the next best thing for me to help myself back up from a bath.

No tools needed

Because I'm 91 years old a little creativity is sometimes required. First I needed to know what my bathtub was made of (interior, steel - exterior, porcelain) which meant a good strong fit on the tub would be possible utilizing the plastic clamping devices on each end of safety bar. I'm extremely happy with my choice of the safety bar. I have to admit because of the shape of the bathtub there was a lot of trial & error attempts involved but it all worked out great.

I don't hate it but unless both sides of the tub are perfectly flat this will not work. It won't fit my tub & I hope I can return it.
