Completely Plastic and not sealed well

The thermometer face isn't sealed along the edges. I put it in a brooder and bedding could get inside of it. It was accurate at first, but I think the debris that worked its way in may have caused it to be less accurate as I used it. On the positive side, it didn't cost very much and I was glad to see it had a little stand to keep it upright.

Easy to read

Very clear & easy to read. No set up. Doesn't appear to take batteries. It seems to be staying at the same readings as when it was outside in the packaging so I'm not sure how accurate it reads until I get a second one to compare readings.

Great value

For a cheap set of guages for travel in hotels it's great. Let's me know when to run the humidifier. Knowing the temp is nice as well. Cant beat the price.

SMALL, BUT DOES THE JOB

I was expecting something a bit bigger - okay, a lot bigger - to fit on my wall. This will fit on my wall, but it's smaller than a thermostat, so it doesn't do much good until you are right on top of it.

Temperature Bimetal Spring Rattling Around Inside

I popped the clear cover plate off, installed the spring, then turned the attachment plates until they measured correctly. Works great now.

FOLLOW UP TO 1st REVIEW

Bought two units! Not until I placed them at the same location did I find out which one should be accurate. Well, they both can't be because an older gauge I had for years tells me 42F in my garage. I don't trust either. Follow Up: Initially these units were not only inaccurate, but both displayed differently. Was going to trash them. I ended up paying the cover off and removing the inside faceplate. Was able to adjust the pointer to reflect the reading to match two other units I have. Let them sit for several hours and kept fine tuning the pointer. Now, after 2 days, the 2 units seem to be reading temp and humidity just fine. The instructions could have mentioned that!!

Have to pry it open and calibrate the humidity.

The humidity gauge is way off on a few of these and from one to another. I will put these on my deck and set them by removing the pointer and reapplying to the local weather stations values when I get the chance. This should work well otherwise.

I like it

Perfect for what I wanted, a cheap thermometer for my greenhouse. Tells temperature and humidity, it is small, and easily readable. Accurate enough for my needs

NOT accurate

Does NOT keep accurate temperatures. Always says it’s 80 in the house. I put it in the fridge to test it and it never moved from the 50 degree mark. Too bad I can’t return it or use it.

Not worth it

Just got the product to monitor humidity and temperature for a room with reptiles. The temperature measures about 10° higher and the humidity in a dry room reads 75 which seems off to me. Scared to use the product to actually monitor things.
