Cute cabby

I was a little hesitant about buying this because of some of the reviews but I decided to take the chance. Over all I’m glad I decided to get it. There are a few small things though, the clear plexiglass is cracked on one of them so I’m not too thrilled about that but I put it in the bottom slat so hopefully it doesn’t crack all the way up and break. You do need to remove the cardboard looking paper off of the plexiglass, like stated in the most recent reviews. The back is cracked a little but I’m not too worried about it since it’s the back and no one can see it. Over all it’s a nice little cabby to have in the kitchen, looks nice and is practical. It goes great with my “coffee bar” I just got for Mother’s Day!

Love these in my store!

The only reason I give this item a 4 star review is because the little plexiglass end caps were not in the best shape, they were cut kind of crooked and when I got them I almost threw them away because I didn't realize that's what they were. They were covered in this paper tape and they looked like cardboard slits. So note to self peel the paper tape off! They work great and separate everything I need them to! The only problem I had was finding someone who had more than 2, I actually ordered from several places and paid several prices.

Inconsistant

I originally bought this caddy to store teas, got it, loved it, decided to order a second caddy so that i'd have a matching pair, the second caddy arrived and looks like a cheap knock off of the first one I received, the wood is thinner, the shape and size are different, the plastic barriers on the front are twice as thick and sharp on the edges and one side of the caddy wasn't fully attached and had a nail sticking out, which i had to remove and replace with a finishing nail I nailed in myself. I feel like the second caddy was a bait and switch and am dissapointed. In the attached image the one on the left is the original caddy and the one on the right is the second, which I am now calling the imposter caddy.

why did it not come with clear plastic or Acrylic

The picture shows clear plastic as a short window that slides into a groove at the frontier Keeping anything from falingl-out, three clear sleek looking slates that were shown in advertised. Instead there were cry pieces of cardboard sitting in the slots and they had black lines just randomly printed through them like someone just cut it for the shape I was pretty disappointing you can’t showcase something with cardboard and make it look nice to see the items that are in the layers on the shelves.

Slats are a pain

I spent 3 months assuming they just sent me garbage cardboard inserts instead of glass, but I still liked the tower enough to not raise a fuss. Only now reading the reviews did I realize I had to peel the "cardboard" covering off of the glass pieces. They need a pull tab or something to make it more obvious and also because I destroyed my nails trying to get the dang thing started. But anyway, much happier now that I know there was, in fact, glass inserts

Worth the money, but no more

This had a slight crack in the back but it didn’t affect the integrity of the item. It is worth the $20 I paid. If you’re looking for an inexpensive coffee bar organizer, this is a good one. One of the other reviews mentions that the slats that go in the front are just cardboard with some print on them. I initially also thought that, but they are actually plexiglass that you have to remove the cardboard colored stickers from. The decals are a bit difficult to remove and scratch easily, so I would suggest soaking them in hot water and mild dish soap to remove. As I said, if you are wanting something rather inexpensive to organize your coffee bar, this does the job.

Works well, but looks like my dad made it

Looks like my dad made it in the garage. It's a very simple shelf that you could make yourself with some basic woodworking skills. It's really nothing fancy, doesn't look or feel expensive, it's literally just a simple wood shelf that looks like some guy made himself and put on Amazon. Doesn't look crappy really, but don't be surprised if someone asks if you made it yourself. Even the plastic front pieces look hand cut. THAT BEING SAID. There's nothing wrong with it. Looks decent enough and it does the job well. It's stable and sturdy and looks fine on my counter. I just wasn't expecting it to look hand made. The plastic fronts are covered with wax paper and tucked away when you open it, so don't throw them away....you have to take off the wax paper.
