Perfect for LP Vinyl Record Shelf Storage

I purchased these to store, support, and separate my collection of LP vinyl records on open shelves. They are perfect for this use. Unlike most "Magazine Holder" type units, (which typically have a lower front piece preventing contents from sliding out the front and requiring that you lift up and out to retrieve contents), these are wide open and unhindered in the front. They are therefore ideal if you wish to be able to slide contents in and out the front without having to lift up... such as my application of storing LP vinyl records. Also, unlike most similar units that are made of plastic which can crack easily, these are a somewhat flexible but still very supportive and stiff metal mesh, making them very durable. You could throw this metal mesh unit across the room, and it would not be damaged at all. They are also attractively made. My one recommendation however, is that you should remove the tiny "Mind Reader" metal branding tag clipped into the mesh side, because it has little edges that are sharp enough to scratch the contents you are storing. Fortunately, this is extremely easily to remove... just bend up the tiny retaining clip and it falls off and can be discarded.

Using as a file holder for cubby

One of these arrived slightly dented, but I ended up keeping them b/c I'm finding use for them as file holders for my cubby. I wish they made these things specifically for this purpose but I had to make do! The metal mesh is quite flimsy, but for my purposes, it's all good!

Great extra large addition to my office!

I have genealogy projects I work on and this extra large file holder keeps my family groups in order as I work. It also allows me to easily move/keep my gathered files in/out of my lateral file cabinet so my workspace doesn’t have “piles” of folders cluttering my desktop.

VALUABLE IN MY "OFFICE" ROOM!

Been re-ordering these oversized "magazine holders" for years and don't know what I'd do without them. The black mesh goes with my other office accessories, the width holds extra books, papers, or whatever. The part I like best is that you don't have to pick up your selections, such as a heavy dictionary, to get it into the storage unit. The front is left open, and you can just slide the items in and out! Great office accessory, and I will continue to order more as I find more uses for them. Price is reasonable, and I'm always a happy buyer with each new re-order! D.

Did the job.

I like that the front is open so the depth does not limit things like 3 ring binders. Plus it’s easier to get stuff in and out. They aren’t the thickest mesh holders but they don’t tip over when only one heavy binder is remaining. The items I received do not need assembly. I did place some non skid liner underneath to keep them in place. Two were big enough for three 2 1/2” binders, 5 spirals, index cards, a Pearson math book and extra writing pads and a few small leisure books. There’s room for more too if needed. This will definitely help keep my daughters school desk tidier. May order some extras for my stuff.

Distance Learning organization

With multiple kids all at home doing distance learning during this crazy pandemic, we NEEDED a way to organize school books, papers, journals in a design so work space for each child with the smallest footprint possible while maintaining ease of access for uncoordinated little hands. These fit the bill! There’s no extra lip so it’s easy for kids to pull things out and slide (although it’s usually SHOVE) back in. They’re sturdy enough for textbooks and a multitude of booklets and loose papers. They don’t move around & also look clean and not bulky or heavy. Very happy with these.

Skip cardboard go to metal and check the price these were great

Anyone who starts off with cardboard or that type of plastic board for using them as binders or document storage are going to soon get exhausted of being cheap and living maybe for 3 years and them working. I knew a while back when I needed to organize owner's manuals for various household products that I needed something that wasn't going to bow break or possibly rip apart where it's glued together. They definitely are built well and stylish. I believe these will last a while.
