Worst installation instructions ever!

This is a good product with terrible installation instruction. There is absolutely no verbiage in the instructions - just drawings that require a really good imagination to decipher.

Would not Buy again

Nice Lock, easy to install BUT uses batterys and they go out every other week. I used duracell and Eveready and they did not last at all. Then I tried rechargable batteries and same thing, Constantly replacing the batteries. To much of a pain to be useful.

Looks good

So this one is on me. I took 4 hours to install, uninstall and re-install. I failed to read the directions and could not align the two bolts that connect to each side through the door. I took two 20 min emotional breakdown time outs and finally figured what I was doing wrong. Works great, but read the dang directions, oh yeah, look on the key pad side when you tighten up the bolts, I installed the key pad perfectly, upside down. It fits, so look at the other side too.

Not consistent

We purchased this lock for the sole purpose of making it easier to come home and not have to fumble in our bags with keys to get in and out, especially with grocery bags, purses, etc. Unfortunately the electronic lock and unlock feature works some of the time (I'd say about 30%). The rest of the time, we still have to manually lock and unlock it with the provided key. This completely defeats the intent behind the purchase. And we will be going back to our old lock/deadbolt set

Good lock

Love this lock so much. But they sent the wrong color. Only the inside matched the color ordered and the outside was completely black. I love the remote and love the lock. Its sturdy and helps us get in quickly.

It's a great lock when the batteries work

It's a great lock when the batteries work. You have to buy a 4 pack of batteries, not an economy size. They only lasted for about 3 weeks and we had to replace them. The concept is good, but they need to improve the length of performance. The reason that I bought this was so that I could use the key fab or the code and neither works after the batteries stop working. This was already an expensive purchase and now it is going to be more costly to replace the batteries every month.

Take Your Time Installing!

THe unit came complete with all the hardware you needed to install it. The description did not say it contained new latches but happily it did. I followed the directions carefully and although I ran into a few minor glitches was able to install it easily. The glitches were more based on the quality of the door I was installing the device in and no reflection on the manufacturing. Overall I am happy with the purchase but, this is a 150 dollar lockset and does not have the quality of a 300 dollar unit.

Handles are garbage lock is decent

The lock feature is great, install was average however the door handle is garbage. I requested a replacement handle and guess what? A week after the new one came it too malfunctioned. Will be returning it and buying something else!
