Too many parts for such a simple item.

I used the two pieces separately (I never assembled) as they are both wide enough to block a non jumping dog from getting somewhere you don’t want them. Both sides are about the length of a standard internal door.

Great use for small pets

Works great on a 60in opening with my smaller dog and is easy enough to step over. Latching in the eyelets is very easy so opening and closing is a snap.

It fit my hallway pretty good but it's pretty weak in the middle. To add some strength to it I zip tied wooded dowels across the back side of the top and bottom. Add a bit of rigidity to it so my dogs wouldn't push threw it.

For my needs not working

Flimsy it's cheep but was hoping it would work but nope oh well But for the money I guess give it a try see what happens

Does what it’s intended to do.

It’s a super wide gate, but seems very flimsy. I just put it up. It stops my dog from going into my office and I will see if it will hold up.

Not very well built.

Not a well built product. It’s not very sturdy at all, I have to put something against it to keep my little puppy from pushing on it and breaking the slats. I only kept it because once she’s potty trained I won’t need it and I needed it now.

Not worth the buy

Not a good buy unless it’s for a toy breed dog who can’t just high. Gate is very low and extra flimsy! I think there’s a typo in the installation instructions, it doesn’t account for the hardware drop into the eye screw. It ended up sitting about 1/4 inch from where it needed to be on both sides - and I had a tradesman install it. So there’s 3 extra holes in my wall I need to fill now and it’s metal behind the mortar. Cats will jump over it as well as larger dogs. Any other animal will wiggle between the bars. So it’s good for a toy breed dog that can’t jump.

Working well after 1.5 months of use

A good gate for keeping my 3 month old German Shepherd puppy out of the den. The doorway is approximately 85" and the fence spans the entire width at thigh height. Human adults can easily step over it while keeping puppy out. It screws into the wall on either side of the door frame (4 screws) and each side has a latch that can be unhooked so you can slide it open and walk through. Good design and easy to put together but with it being so long it seems a bit unstable/wobbly when puppy jumps on it. So far so good, though. We'll see how it holds up when she gets bigger. She's been chewing the (unpainted) wood slats but only made some gnawing marks so far. Altogether satisfied with the purchase.

Broke in first 5 mins

If you have a dog bigger than 15lbs that jumps on gate at all, don’t get this one. Broke in literally the first 5 minutes

Great product! But if your dog chews than wood is not a good option for you.

This product did exactly what it was intended to do. And worked very well. As I was a whelping foster and I needed to separate my dogs from the whelping room and later the puppies. Although, it was great product; I failed to think that puppies chew. Yes, sadly one of my bars has been chewed. This of course is not the product’s fault. But, as my own dogs are not chewers it wasn’t something I considered in advance.

Smaller dog appropriate

The gate was used to keep two small dogs safe and it worked. However when a large puppy was enclosed, he was able to force it open . The clasps to secure to the door frame are too flimsy
