Very good for children’s kitchen

Good quality play food

Melissa and Doug products are my go to place for quality toys. This play food surpasses any other that I’ve come across. It’s more detailed than most others out there and the color( other than the meats) is more realistic. The kids love it and are not as picky about the meat color ???? it’s well made ,washable in warm sudsy water,and should last for generations.

Not too many parts to lose but enough options to keep kids entertained.

Got this for the kitchen in my kids swing set with a kitchen. There’s enough options to keep the kids entertained but not too many for them to lose them and have them spread all over. They also have held up very well staying outside in the swing set.

Always Seems to be Quality Product From Melissa & Doug

Hey everyone, I bought this dinner set to go with my 19-month old's recently purchased play kitchen (his kitchen set only came with a hamburger and hotdog so we were looking for some add ons). Package arrived in great condition with no damage to any of the items. Good quality plastic and nice realistic coloring. Great variety of food groups (they come labelled by food group in the box). It says it is dishwasher safe, but I honestly prefer to hand wash things like this so I can't attest to that. Always satisfied with our purchases from Melissa & Doug, would absolutely recommend this set.

A great addition for kitchen play

M&D is my go-to for any play foods for the kids. They are always made really well & hold up great. They will be used for many years to come. Yes, they cost more, but these are a thicker, heavier plastic & not thin cheap plastic like other competitors. I loved that a menu was included to give the kids ideas of 'meals' to order & prepare.

Worth the price

I researched so many different brands of play food and finally stumbled upon Melissa & Doug Combine and Dine Dinners ; the quality of it is amazing. My worry was that I was going to buy play food that would barely last a day. This food is very good quality, thick and has some solid weight to it. I definitely was skeptical paying $85 for 2 boxes of play food but honestly I would recommend it to anyone who plans to keep it in the house for a long time. My 2 year old absolutely loves playing with it in his kitchen

Great quality for toddlers or older children!

I bought both of the Combine & Dine sets for my one year old son. The quality and detail of the food is really amazing. They are made of thick, durable and slightly flexible plastic. My little guy can't bite pieces off or break these, so they should last us for years and years of play. My only complaint is these sets have a lot of sugary desserts. It would have been nice to see a few more fruit options. I would definitely recommend these for anyone who wants good quality, realistic looking play food!

Kids love this and it's well-made food (looks yummy enough to eat!) However, my only complaint is the odd baby powder smell emanating from the plastic. I was hoping for no fragrance at all, and if it had to have one, why not something a little more... food-related?
