Ring broke

I purchased this product in Sept 2022. It has been well taken care of. Other day, my mom sat down on it and the left side of the ring snapped and broke.

Solid wood! Very well made & easy to install

You know you are getting old when you get excited about a toilet seat. The hardest part of this was taking off the old one. This system is super easy. Bolt and nut up then place down and click in then lock closed into place. Simple. Why it took until 2022 for this to happen is beyond me. Super heavy material. Solid wood with perfect white finish on it. Might be a little heavy for seniors but not too bad. Excellent product and fast shipping. Rating a toilet seat is a new part of a mid life crisis I guess but hey I bet whoever is reading this doesn’t have as nice of a butt seat as my new one. ????

So Far So Good

Just received this toilet seat. Installation was easy, but instructions were not helpful as they didn't apply to the seat I purchased, but figured it out. Seems sturdy enough. Will update to see how it holds up. Just a quick note. This is not prime delivery. I ordered on a Sunday and received it on a Thursday, and it was delivered by USPS. Very slow delivery. I ordered the wrong one by mistake, and both times took the same amount of time to deliver.

Doesn't get any better

Great item at a great price. Open-end seats with lids are hard to find so this is the bee's knees! Excellent construction. Finish is durable and easy to clean. Mounting is very simple and stays locked in place. Secure ordering and fast shipping.

Not Solid Wood

Not wood. I drilled holes in the underside to add another set of bumpers, because the first seat broke near the front. These are a compressed composite. Look & feel like wood, and we love them but they are not solid wood. Still, love the fastening Mayfair system that allows me to snap off the seat for cleaning. Should make all seats this way!!
