Beautiful dress! ???? But odd sizing

This is a heavy-ish dress that is perfect for winter and cold weather. No pockets. It is well-made, but unfortunately, size was off. I am 5'3", 187 lbs. I carry my excess weight in my stomach. I buy an XL/XXL/12/14 when shopping. Here, I got an XL. The dress comes to just above my knees, so it's not too short. Appropriate for the office. Since it's heavy, you wouldn't have to worry about the wind blowing your dress up. Sleeves were too long for me (as a short person) It was way too big in the shoulders/armpit/chest area. I wear 40C bra. I didn't want to exchange for a size down, though, because it would be too tight in the stomach area. I think the dress would fit better on someone with big boobs. The belt was odd because while there are belt loops, it was attached via a plastic tag to the dress, and I worry it would snag the fabric should you remove the tag! Overall, a beautiful dress, but sizing was tricky.
