Excellent lock

These discus locks are vastly superior to convention padlocks for security and being cut proof. For higher security needs for a lock I highly recommend. Combination padlocks are convenient for sharing access, but this offers better protection.

Sloppy mechanism

It's pretty heavy despite the cheap feeling outer casing. And the tumblers feel sloppy, takes some jiggling to get it unlocked. By the same token, it doesn't feel like you could easily cut through it. Might just be the individual lock I received, but just doesn't seem like the Master Lock quality we're accustomed to.

Master Locks are one of the best locks you can get!!! However when it comes to shipping the product from Amazon one has to wonder why they would ship locks with out the keys needed to open said locks!!!

Good lock, flimsy keys

Good dependable lock (for indoor use). Over time (3 years), the keys begin to bend. I tossed the first because I was afraid it would break in the lock. Now the second is bent, and I'm replacing the whole lock and key set.

Seems sturdy. Good lock.

Cons: -space between covers is not welded shut. Think would be easy for water to run in and freeze. Pros: -smooth action. Key turns nicely - very little of actual lock is showing. Think it should be hard to break into. Good lock

Like these locks

They work find for my sled trailer. They do have issues in the winter time with occasional freezing, but regular maintenance keeps them working for years. Lost keys from last set and can confirm they are not super easy to hack.
