the lock mechanism seems a bit chincy and cant imagine how its weatherproof but i just got them yesterday and put them outside in use. ill c how they hold up.

Broken plastic - missing key

When I opened the box, the locks package was cut with a slit and one of the 3 keys was missing. I did not have time to send them back and get a new set. I needed to use 2 of them that day.

I guess I should have read the reviews. You get three locks and only two keys. I kind of wanted 3 keys for all 3 locks. Locks work fine. No complaints there.

Good for bear proof coolers

Used this on a Yeti Roadie. Just note they are a little heavy and you may need a separate attachment if you want to look the cooler to a bear locker or your truck.

Makes no sense

I bought a package of three locks all keyed the same.. only two keys. Called master lock toll free number to ask why only 2 keys. Answer..".for my security so you don't have extra keys sitting around". Nice master locks. As locks go I am pleased with my purchase. Still, the reason for only 2 keys is ridiculous. Now I have to purchase a third key for the third lock. Go figure

Keeps bears and teenagers out of my Yeti cooler

Works as intended. Three locks (keyed alike). Comes with two keys that you can get copied if you need more. Compatible with my Yeti cooler. Basic security you would expect in an entry level master lock. Don’t expect it to keep the Lock Picking Lawyer out for more than a few seconds ;). (Search on YouTube)
