Polywood Equivalent

I’ve been looking for a durable set of Adirondack chairs, similar to the Polywood ones. These chairs are well built, and the Hdpe material is good quality and tough. The chairs are about 40lbs, so definitely have some heft to them. We got the blue color, and it looks nice. The color has a bit of a speckle to it, due to the composition of the Hdpe. This isn’t a big deal. Pros: The quality of the Hdpe is really high, and these are built to last. Super comfortable, and waaaaaaaay cheaper than the Polywood version. Cons: You can basically throw away the instruction manual. It came with two, none matched the hardware (bolts, screws, nuts) that came with the chairs. It’s easy enough to figure it out, but the instructions are not useful. I wish they made the bolts 1/8” longer. I couldn’t use any of the washers because the bolts were simply not long enough. There was also variation/tolerance difference between chairs, so some chairs I had a really tough time getting the nut to catch on the bolts. You might consider going to ACE to grab some longer bolts. I noticed one of the sets didn’t have pilot holes drilled, not a huge deal, but kinda shows the variation between sets. Overall, I really love these chairs. The price point is great, the material is durable and meant to last, but I wish they included better hardware. I’m 6’ and 190 lbs, and the chair has ample room.

Attractive and well built adirondacks!

I love these adirondacks! They are well build, sturdy and easy to put together. Sent them to my family in Texas for their front porch. They love them! Got the side table too. They will withstand the weather and last forever! Thank you!

Instructions wrong, and not easy to assemble

The chairs are nice. But my first problem was with the instructions, where the letters of the parts did not match the parts. It was all very confusing, but my wife helped me figure it out in the end. Then, there are 2” bolts that are barley long enough. In fact, one I had to not use a washer, and another, I couldn’t even screw on the nut as there was simply not enough bolt sticking out to attach it. So I’ll be going to Lowes to find a longer bolt unfortunately. What a shame to pay all this money only to have to rig up a solution yourself. Poor product. Would have given one star but the chairs are nice (or will be when I can finish putting them together fully).

Time will tell

We bought some bar stools made from recycled plastic from a local island store that gave claims that color won’t fade. We found this different brand for much less through Amazon that also claims it won’t fade. The instructions that came with the chairs has a statement that they shouldn’t be exposed to direct sun to prevent fading. A bit confusing. We do have both brands under a cover but I’d love to hear from others their experiences with this material that advertises it’s the best material for beach use without fading.

Would never recommend this product.

It's cheaply made. Arm came lose and just shows that it's cheap. We don't have the box to send it back. UPS wants me to take it all apart and send in original box. There has to be a better way.
