Quit the Ugly Tennis Balls

These are amazing! Kids absolutely cannot take them off. It takes a bit to get the hang of putting them on. Then I think you’re set for years of silent classroom movement. Cons: They are far too expensive AND every pack of eight comes with the installation tool so that’s wasteful. I would like to see better bulk pricing and packaging. I tried to send back the extra tools but the company would not accept them. Weird.

Solved the problem

Other inserts either didn't fit properly inside my chair disc bottoms or wore out prematurely. Just installed on 4 chairs today so don't know how long they'll hold up. The vinyl is strong but pliable and stretched enough to just fit over my 1 3/8" iron disc bottoms. Product seems well made with heavy duty felt. Tips: Along with installation tool provided, I used a paint can opener for easier install. Set these vinyl caps out in the sun for awhile to soften for easier install. Put a 1 1/4" fender washer inside each cap to prevent bottom of wrought iron chair leg from chewing through the vinyl cap.

These work. Very well made and sturdy.

These things work great on my new LVT flooring. They fit my chairs perfect and won't come off unless I take them off. I have bought 6 packs of these. I have used 5 packs and have a spare just in case I need them. They slide easy on the floor, and take weight. I used a sharpie to change the color from Gray to Black to go with my dark brown furniture. I bought these to protect my floors from scratches and dents from my furniture and these work.

PERFECT! I have searched for years for glide caps ...

PERFECT! I have searched for years for glide caps for my wrought iron kitchen chairs. I tried "furniture feet" which worked for a short time then the sliding of the heavy chairs ripped right thru the soft plastic. also tried round sticky felt pads but they kept sliding off and scratching the floor. I'm buying more and letting everyone know. The handy tool which comes with it is definitely needed - Thank You!
