Well made classic style

This porch light is sturdy and well made. The antique brass finish is appropriate for my Victorian home. Amazon had it available for less expensive than through a popular restoration company. Can’t beat free prime shipping and returns. I’m happy with my new light!

Heads up on their "bronze" fixture

Purchased Feb. 2021 for front porch of a small patio home. Item listed as Monterrey #2152-07 Bronze, pendant light. This is not a very large fixture, but it was ok for my needs. The style is nice, but I could only rate 3 stars because of the color. It is labeled as "bronze" which is misleading, & the photo is not true to actual color either. When I opened the package, I saw that the color was a very deep dark brown. In fact, I called the company thinking I had been sent the wrong item because it was almost black ! The Customer Service at Livex told me that the manufacture makes it in this dark color. I suggested that Livex would do customers a favor if they had a better description of what this "bronze" actually looks like. She didn't seem too interested in my suggestion. For that reason I decided to write a review so other customers would know exactly what they are receiving. It is by no means what I would call "bronze". The photo is misleading, and it should be more accurately labeled as a dark brown color.

We put this light in our front porch and it looks amazing! It seems well made and went up without an issue. It looks lively and elegant. Great purchase!

Nice light for old home.

This light looks great! It's a little tricky getting the links open and closed without damaging the paint, but with a soft rag and a pair of pliers I was able to pull it off. It definitely hangs a little lower than I was expecting, and you can only get it down to one link (besides the rings on the light and the base), but I have plenty of room on my porch between the door and where the light hangs, so until somebody 6'5" comes along I'm safe. The trickiest part that I ran into was cleaning it. The glass at the top is a bit challenging to clean inside and out, but I'm hoping that the inside will stay fairly clean and only the outside will need to be washed more often. Time will tell. Overall, I love the light and the traditional feel that works well with my old home.

Good quality

Good quality light. Can't get anything like it in stores right now Unless you go speciality store and that is way overpriced. Have not hung up yet so will update when I do.

Do not buy if your receptacle electrical box is not flush with ceiling....

When buying they did not show enough pictures. They could show a picture or diagram to let you know the lamp is not enclosed but open on the bottom. Definitely a insect grabber and hard to keep clean. The mounting hardware is horrible and will not work if the electrical box is recessed more than 1/8th inch. Managed to fabricate my old light bracket to hang it. Buy a can of white touch up paint. If you even look at this lamp wrong(especially the chain links) ,the paint flakes off easily. Boxed and shipped from China.
