Great gift for kids

We purchased one of the other Rescue Tales as a gift for one of our children so of course the others wanted one too. This one is very cute and my child loves it. When it arrived it was already turned on so it made noise in the box which made it hard to keep a surprise but I don’t know that it could be turned off without opening. Because this was our second Rescue Tale we new to switch it from sad to happy once opened. The whimpering sound it makes on sad is very annoying at least to me, my kids don’t seem to mind. The sounds on happy are much more tolerable, though I prefer toys without sound. The sound doesn’t take away from the quality of the toy. It’s a sturdy toy which though around a toddler doesn’t seem to break easily. The kids also enjoyed that the box is a carrying case/house for the dog and they use it often as part of their play. Overall I would purchase this item again. It makes a great gift and was a great value (at the time of purchase).

Didn't work

Ordered little tykes rescue tales rottweiler puppy for daughter. The instructions said batteries not included, yet the package was barking when I got it. Thought it must have been some sort of try me feature. But after removing battery cover I discovered batteries were already installed and dog was activated. His tail would not wag and head would not move. I suspect that these features burned up from being straped to box and unable to move freely. So I sent it back. It broke my girls heart but I did not order another.

Cute pet

My daughter loves her rescue dog. It interact with her when she moves. It's the first thing she goes to when she gets home. It does make noise at night so suggest turning off but it's so cool to have happy and sad mood.

Ripped, taped packaging

This box had been previously opened, ripped, and taped back together with scotch tape. I paid for a brand new product, not a return!
