Valuable accessory for fathead welders.

I'm a welder. I have a fat head. The hardhats we get at work don't fit me. The special order hats I get don't turn around without removing and reinstalling the suspension. The company (for .... Reasons?) wants me to wear my hat bill forward. I cannot modify my hat. This adapter allows me to get the welding hood far enough off my face that I can raise and lower it without hitting the dials in my autodark. It's still close enough I don't go crosseyed while welding and close enough to protect my ugly mug and my fantastic beard but it allows me clearance over my larger than average bill. I keep telling them that it's solid bone ear to ear and the hardhat really won't do anything my thick skull isn't already doing. This is my approved workaround. If only management would buy them for me. Cheapskates.
