Excellent and heavy duty

This was the second screen door handle I ordered from Amazon. The first was returned to a different retailer as it was sub-par and plastic. This handle is all metal, fit most of my existing holes and required little effort to install. Once installed, it functioned very well and I can also say delivery was top notch. This was an excellent buy and price is right.

My mistake

I had the spindle in, so it locked the handle in the wrong direction. When it fell out the handle rotated and I was able to put it in the right position that was needed. This was my mistake. It has been installed now.

Great after market product for pella screen doors

Bought this for a 13yr old pella screen door due to pella discontinuing this style. I ended up using both shims and filing the shortest rod for the dead bolt just slightly. It come with 3 different size rods for both the dead bolt and the door handle. with this amount of parts you could make this fit just about any door.

Good buy for the money...

This was not as easy to install because of the small pin, but once that part is secure, and you don't lose it down the center whole then everything else is pretty easy to install. I do have trouble with the lock it's a bit hard to lock the door since its hard, I still have to figure out how to adjust the lock part to work properly without effort. I am happy with the design and the cost.

Good product, terrible instructions

The instructions for this are awful and there is some guess work involved. If you typically require detailed instructions to install something, this is probably not for you. That said, once installed, the lock and hardware appear solid and look good.

IDEAL KEY

This lockset replaced a pushbutton storm door handle. The only downside was neither of the local big box stores had a blank for extra keys. My local hardware did match the keys to a blank.

Simple And Effective

Simple to install and effective. Been using it for about a week and no complaints. I'm planning on ordering a second for the back door.

Good looking replacement handle

I'm only a little bit handy, and I had no real problems installing this. Not that it was totally easy, but I think that is just because retrofitting a door handle is a bit tricky by nature. Not a fault of the product, I think they make it as easy as possible. I had to shim the plate behind the locking plate to get the lock to work properly, some trial and error at getting the pin/peg the right length, etc. But that was because of my door and frame, not the product. The door closes and "clicks" and holds solid without rattling. The lock is solid as well. The instructions were good, and there were enough parts included that I was able to install this properly. They know that some customization will be necessary, and give you enough parts and info to figure it out. This looks great and modern and works really well. I couldn't find anything locally that didn't look like it was from the 80's, so I was happy to find this.

Quality Product

Fit perfectly and looks great too. Lots of extra parts for the thickness of your door. If you have 3" from the base of your door handle to the top of your key whole then this is the handle you want. Easy to install.

All components fit the way that one would expect!

Looked for this kit to replace a screen door lock set that came with a door that was purchased at Home Depot some 12 years ago. I received this product in just a few days and was more than pleased with the packaging that it came with. The installation instructions were self explanatory and had no trouble installing it. The finish on this door hardware was equal or better than the original that came with the screen door. All components fit the way that one would expect with no additional modifications required. This is a great product!

Great quality for economic price

This was a replacement for a previous screen door handle. I find it to have very good craftsmanship. We had to drill a few extra holes in the screen door. Also required 2 of us to install to help line up the pieces on both sides of the door. I would definitely purchase it again. It is lockable with a key on the outside. Not sure if I will use that feature but I find it a bonus regardless.
