does the job

Switched from almond to white phone wall jack; this did the job.

Hole in the wall

OK, I bought this because it was very inexpensive and was what I was looking for. I actually don't use my phone wall jacks, but was replacing all the outlet plates to white in my house, so had to replace this too. So I don't know if it works fine or not, I use a VoIP service. But, the reason for 3 stars is because the actual jack hole is literally a hold in the front in the shape of the jack. It has no internal walls. Look closely at the item picture and you'll see what I mean. It looks weird in my wall. Most jacks like this have side walls, but this just opens into the emptiness in the wall box. I definitely don't like it.

Great decorative wall cover plate

Kinda pricey for a piece of plastic, but it does look professional & clean. Wish they offered more selection of beige colors as it still sticks out on wall with beige color paint in kitchen.

Easy to replace my old wall jack

My old telephone wall jack plate turned to an ugly yellow color because it had been there for exactly 30 years when my house was built. I wanted to replace it with a new white jack plate to match my white wall and this one did the trick. It was real easy to install since the four wire terminals on the back of the jack plate were marked with the wire colors.

Looks Great

The wall jack looks great but I had to re-wire the jack from the old one that was presently there. I guess it could be five stars but I did not have a land line to check if it works. I just changed the plate for cosmetic reasons.

Good solid construction

Solid construction with easy to use screws. This faceplate should last without cracking from mounting screw pressure. Works. What’s to say?
