Great power cord, yeah.

Um, it's a power cord and it works just as you'd think. Oh yeah, the cord is black, just as expected in the picture.

Had power supply unit issues after using this cord

I ordered this as an extension to my power cord as it is pretty short for the area I have my tower in and allows for little movement for cleaning etc. After using this cord My PSU failed to self-test several times and was sent into an infinite boot loop cycle where it failed to even let me boot into BIOS for safe mode. I had to pull out my tower, remove my PSU and manually self-test it to see if it was failing (it's only about 5 years old and has a 10 year warranty so I was really surprised by this), it passed just fine. After I reassembled my pc, I did NOT use this cord and everything has been working fine since. I don't recommend this cord.

This is 1 foot extension cord. Hardly any extension.

The product description does not state how long the extension cord is. Having a good price, I supposed this would be 25-30 feet, rather on the short side of extension cords. But to my surprise, this is a mal/female plug with about half a foot cable in between. The product image clearly shows that there is actually cable attached to both the male and female side of the cord, but in reality this is not the case. For what would you need an 1 foot extension cord? This product image is very misleading and too bad I fell for it. I will wait for people to review products next time before I buy, and not buy unrated products anymore.
