Too small for my application, expensive

Nothing wrong with this component, but for ceiling mounted shower heads, 8-10 inches is better. This is also quite expensive compared with alternatives.

Perfect length with flange

I found the Kohler K-7396-CP 3in straight arm with flange to be a perfect fit. This looks to be a pretty universal mount since it not only fits the new showerhead that it was intended for, but also fit our previous shower head. It appears to be quite sturdy and attractive looking. Its the perfect drop for our ceiling mount shower head.

Misleading photo

Misleading picture. The threading on both ends of the pipe are brass, they are not coated in the black matte paint! Otherwise it seems to be a substantial piece of pipe. Need it for shower head connection.

Good Value

Looks nice and was easy to install. The chrome finish on the arm is very thin and easily removed if you are not careful during installation. Overall it is worth the price paid.

Beautiful hunk of metal.

Another piece of solid, heavy, Kohler casting - - beautiful. Remarkably, I had trouble finding a good, short, straight shower arm with an adjustable-position escutcheon.

Does the trick

Overpriced, but perfect size. Finish was 7/10 on the tube and 10/10 on the fitting. Matches well with the Hansgrohe downpour shower head.
