Really good shower head

I have Grohe round rain heads in another showers which work well at a better price but I needed a square one to match fittings hence the purchase of this one. I have this mounted overhead and enjoy the way water is delivered and as I have a volume control I can get the right intensity for the desired rain effect. No water spotting or discoloration on mine but we have soft water so not sure if that is why. Personally I'm not bothered by water spots but i have found that some silver cleaner works effectively at removing water spots. Product is very heavy yet thin and feels and looks like a quality item. I don't move ours from a horizontal position but it does have a good range of movement. I wouldn't recommend trying to fit it to a wall mount shower arm without maybe checking with a plumber first - did I mention it is really heavy? I'm really not sure it is worth $600 though... it's not like someone using the shower is going to say oooh Hermes that must be expensive but it does look different to others I've seen.

Excellent performance but ridiculous water spotting

Love using this shower head. I have it ceiling mounted and pressure is good, nice size of rain shower pattern. But - it's appearance has destroyed any good feelings I have for it. It's covered in dark, unremovable water spots. Talking to Kohler was useless and unfortunately I've outfitted my entire home in Kohler fixtures in this finish which look terribly cheap and dirty after less than one year in use.

Easy to install, makes it easy to take out!

I have used many Kohler products over the years only to be disappointed time and time again. However, I thought id try the shower head based on the reviews it received. Boy, what a mistake. This shower head lasted less than 6 months before the top seam broke open. Now I have rivers of water that run from the top as well as the ports on the bottom side. 2.5 GPM my @$$. I cannot wait to find a decent replacement.

Seriously?

for over $500 you'd think that this product would include the arm to attach it to the ceiling. The product is pictured with the ceiling arm, but when it arrived it is only the shower head. On my way to home depot to find a arm to mount it. I'll update this once I've got it installed....but poor form and boarderline false advertising as I can't see anything on the product details which calls out that the mount arm is not included.

Including the washer thingy that tones down the water pressure. This is a good one we have installed it in two different showers over the years.
