I have mix feeling about this. My husband grouted the whole shower I mean grouted. ALL the tile surface. So it takes me an hour to go through 1sq ft. Then, accidentally I found I can take a spatula to remove the grout with one or two swipe. That makes 10 minutes per sq ft. But still need the brush to make the tiles shiny. So... didn’t work for what I bought it for, but something else came out of it so three stars.

Great for removing dried on grout from slate tile

I purchased these solely for the purpose of removing some black grout that stuck to our slate tile shower. We used the grout with the polymer added, so it was very strong - and very stubborn to remove, even after acid washes. These little nylon brushes did an amazing job in very little time. I pretty much chewed through the heavy brush (the orange one) in about an hour of use. But, I got most of the grout removed - some still remained in the deeper slate crevices. I can only imagine how these would work on smooth tile!

Works good

I saw this for tile grout haze removal. Had to use the acid and we just used the orange one (med grit) and it worked great. It was very time consuming working 2/rds of the tile but when you didn't think you were gonna get the haze off--This did it.

Great for sanding soft metals

I bought these to clean some old aluminum cookware because the metal ones were leaving deep scratches when I tried to clean with them. These worked great without leaving scratches. These are excellent to use with soft metals, and would be good to use with hard metals as well.

They work very well with a drill. Not for heavy sanding, but if you have some burs or rough spots these will work great. They work best for getting into areas you need to smooth out that you can't reach very well with sand paper.

Restoring dream come true

Seriously lived up to my expectations. I didn't need the gray one and wish I could trade it in, just too abrasive. However, when push comes to shove, everything worked as hoped for. Here's the results. I have 30 more steamer trunks to do. I'll update with how long they lasted.

Excellent!

These things are great. I've been using them for cleaning chores, mostly in the kitchen, bathrooms, and garage. They save a lot of elbow grease and seem to hold up well - no noticeable wear so far. Nor have I yet to damage any surface so far. The negative reviews seem to come from people who use them in the shop where sandpaper, wire brushes, or grinding stones might be a better choice.
