Perfect upgrade to match newer style brush-roll

We have a Kirby G6... recently replaced the original brush roll with the newer style that’s found on the newest model kirby’s (they discontinued the old style - the new one is better). Well when Kirby changed the brush roll, they also changed this plate and added the fourth small protector bar off to the side. They also changed the shape of the bars themselves. Supposedly they recommend changing to this style plate once you upgrade the brush roll for “maximum performance”. Time will tell I guess... but for $14 - why not. It fit perfectly and definitely seems to be better “fit” to the brush roll compared to the older original style. If anything - that extra protector bar will keep large objects from getting sucked up as easy.

replacement for kirby

This was needed for our kirby that we have had for almost 20 years. Husband replaced and seemed to be easy install. Works same as original.

Replaced the misplaced plate and eliminated the belt strips the vacuum leaves behind with out it.
