Be very careful when installing

It took my handyman multiple tries to get the brackets installed correctly because there was no template in the package. Once we got the spacing right, they work fine. Chose these because the don't stick out from wall as far as most other doubles.

Slim bars

I haven’t installed it yet (with towel ring and robe hook as a set) but they sure look expensive and classy in person. The bars are not robust looking though. Perhaps it is because of the double bar design.

Great Products... but -

The color of the rubbed brass finish varies between products in this line. They explained that it would meld and become more like one another over time, and that if we traded the fixtures I have purchased with ones they had recently gotten from their factory supplier, they would all be the same coloration... They were not. After waiting months for the materials to get in and reminding them regularly of their promise to trade - they arrived... and, were all just as disparately imbalanced (dark to light) as the product they had supplied previously. We installed them anyway - ignoring the coloration problems and praying they DO ACTUALLY meld in color over time because we had so much invested in the line and the colors for the bathroom interior. We have simply have wasted time and money in the budget for the bathroom rebuild due to their issues with quality control. I love the concept of these... but, cannot recommend people buy them if there is any concern for matching patinas on the oil rubbed brass line. I am sure the chrome ones are just fine.

good product and price

the product is good quality and easy to install. Much cheaper than higher brands and nothing is cheap about it.

Careful Installation is Critical

The unit complemented our other Victorian fixtures but careful placement of the mounting pieces is critical if the bars are not to slip out of the end pieces. To be fair, I needed an 18" unit so I substituted the bars from another 18" Kingston unit that matched perfectly. I suspect, though, that falling rods could still be a problem if the mounting brackets are not fitted tightly since the rods do not have a locking slot like our older units.
