Very Nice

This table set was very easy to assemble, but I only used two of the four chairs for my home daycare kitchen area for my students. It is sturdy and the children were very excited to cook and eat at their new table. You will not be disappointed with this piece and your child/ren will love it, because it is beautiful. It did arrive by USPS which was fine with me.

Very study, great size for a 3 year old.

The size is perfect for a young child to sit at comfortably to enable craft time as well as snack time. The color is also a plus so messy little ones won’t cause the table to stain. Easy to clean up with just a cleansing wipe

Cheap, sturdy, easy to assemble

Ordered the table for my 6 (7 in 2 months) year old, in the Espresso. The set comes with a table and four chairs, in a pine wood (I think) stained a dark brown. It was packed well, wrapped with that white poly sheets with styrofoam for cushioning. Was delivered without any damage. Easy enough to assemble, one person can do it with the provided allen wrench and spanner, but I recommend a power or ratcheting driver with a 5/32 hex bit and a 3/8 or 10mm socket wrench. My son who is 48" tall can sit in the chairs comfortably, with feet flat on the ground and thighs horizontal. There is about an inch of clearance between the top of his thigh and the bottom of the table when the chair is pulled up all the way. He can rest his elbows comfortably on the table without having to lean too far forward or lifting them up. If your child is eight, this might be a little too small, but the given age range is reasonable I would say. The chairs (each comes as two side pieces, seat, seat back and cross bar below) and table (comes as a complete top and four leg pieces) have to be assembled with the provided bolts, nuts, dowels and screws (typical IKEA type fasteners) and took me about 1/2 hour total without power tools. Once assembled the table and chairs are very sturdy and the joints are tightly fitted together. The chair bottoms and back rests are flat, not curved. The dark finish can scratch pretty easily, but I guess that's to be expected at this price point and I would assume my kid would scratch pretty much anything anyway (I paid about $101.50 for the set). I took off one star for the easily scratched finish (which might not be noticeable on the light/natural finishes) and the flat seat/seat back, but once again, at this price, this is an excellent product that I would recommend highly at this time. I just bought it, so I cannot comment on how it will hold up over time at this time.

Cute Table for the money but excellent customer service by KidKraft

My mom converted my brother's old room into a playroom for my son. We thought this set looked nice and was fairly inexpensive. It is a really cute, fits nicely in the small room, and was easy to put together (however be sure not to tighten too much or you will break the wood). He is 2 and loves it, it's the perfect size for him and Nanna to sit and draw on. The quality is so so because the wood is not solid but you do get what you pay for. Where this product gets the 4 stars is KidKraft's customer service. This table arrived Saturday, 5 days before Christmas. I got everything out and was soo disappointed, a brace support on the table top was cracked through then glued. I took pictures and documented everything but I put the table together anyway in hopes they would send me a new top and I could replace it after Christmas. In addition to the table being easy to assemble both the manual and table top have a batch # on it which is easy to find. Since it is Christmas I expected to be on hold for an hour and get a replacement part within 6 months. I got live person right away, no automated menu. He asked me for the batch # and is overnighting it so it gets here by Christmas.

My toddler grandson loves it

I previously purchased 2 kidscraft toy boxes and loved them. Bought the table and chairs and they are just as nice and well constructed as the toy chests. Color matches perfectly. My grandson is 2 1/2 yrs old and when he sits on the chair his feet sit on the floor. Perfect size and height. It was extremely easy to put together. One recommendation, if you have a socket set, use that instead of the wrench to attach the legs to the table. Saves time and your knuckles. UPDATE: Chair back fell apart just like in pictures others have posted. Went to the website (KidKraft) and am able to buy the part for $5 but we shouldn't have to buy parts so soon after purchase (their website needs serious updating, not easy to navigate). It is NOT made of wood (at least not the chair backs, they are pressed wood and easily break)

Good product, worth the money!

I purchased this product for my son who was 18 months at the time, and he loved it! The table and chairs are very sturdy and my husband and I love the color, as it matches our furniture. The smooth top makes it easy for coloring with no bumps. Its easy to clean and nothing stains. The chairs are a little high for him but he still manages to get on by himself, at least I know he will grow into it! It was easy and fast to put together. My only concern was that it had a couple chips in the paint, but nothing that warranted a return. We hope to have this table around for a long time, as we have another little one on the way!

Looks nice and very durable

Took little time to assemble. We've been using it for 6 months now and it's very easy to clean. Even I (at 210 pounds, just under 100 kilo) have sat on the chair and they feel solid and durable.

Great toddler table set

Sturdy and well finished. The chairs are slightly too big for kids under 2 but young toddlers won’t stay in one place for long anyway. The table is a good size for activities for one or 2 kids but would feel tight for 4 kids trying to do coloring, crafts etc. Eating might be ok but haven’t tried with more than 2.

My Two Year Old Grandchildren LOVE it !!!

They don't want to sit at any other table. The table and chairs are wonderful. Sturdy, will very easily hold a child or perhaps even a lightweight adult. It is very rich in color, and just as described. Very happy with it. I must tell people reading the reviews though, that this set isn't as good quality as the KidKraft I bought about 15 years ago. It had legs reinforced with metal supports where it connects with the seat, so even an adult could sit on them. The table set appeared to have been made of heavier wood back then. The cost has remained the same as what I paid for it years ago.

Great quality table

Very sturdy. I can sit on chair with my toddler at his table. Colour is very nice and matches my regular dining table. Easy to assemble. Would reccomend to anyone looking for a table for toddler. Great for crafts and dinner.
