Pretty light

The light took less than ten minutes to install for a novice. The design is nice, and it is really attractive up on the wall. It seems like ok quality. Ultimately, I returned because it was difficult for me to remove the cover for bulb replacement. You have to unscrew the three small screws and then pull on the bottom of the unit. The only problem is, while pulling, you have to be careful that the bottom portion of glass doesn't fall out AND can't put too much pulling force on the unit itself. Since I couldn't successfully accomplish this without getting help, I uninstalled. One other consideration is that most bulbs don't work (or have diminished bulb life) if they are in an enclosed light like this. Also, the glass on this has a small hole, about 75% the size of a hole punch hole. If you are buying an enclosed light to keep out bugs, keep in mind they will get in this hole easily.

I like it enough to not return it...

I really like the look of this light. The only thing I dislike is I can see out the lightbulb through the glass diffuser when it is on. I was hoping for light to be more diffused, making the lightbulb less of a bright spot. Overall the light diffuser does not work as I was expecting, but the light looks great on my house.

Great Light.

Especially like the diffuser on the light. It disperses light beautifully…but best of all, no birds nests being built, or bugs getting trapped in light. Spouse is electrician…he was quite pleased with installation and stated novice could easily install this light!

Distinctive Light

This light looks good above our garage & throws off lots of light. The fact that it stands out away from the wall allows it to cast light on all but the very top part of the garage door. I chose the non-LED version & put an LED bulb in it.
