Looks great in my room…but then

I love the lamp and it looks great in the room I bought it for. It was easy to assemble, but I was disappointed to find a large scrape on the base right out of the box. UPDATE: In my enthusiasm, I submitted my review too quickly. I’ve had to return the lamp due to a faulty switch! I’m very disappointed. Trying to pack it back up for the return was a nightmare. I hope you all have a better experience.

Love this lamp~!

The lamp had no assembly instructions, but it was easy to put together. After reading other reviews, I was careful when screwing the sections together to match the threads and the pole looks seamless. I doubt that the panels in the shade are actually glass as stated in the website description. They feel more like a resin of some sort, but they look stunning and the shade is a much lighter weight than if it were made of glass. I didn't notice any problem areas with the joining work on the shade and felt the quality of the lamp was excellent for the price. I am very pleased with it.

Beautiful. But very very poorly made.

I wanted this lamp because of the colors in the shade and the wonderful Tiki torch design of the pole. But let me tell you, it is SO cheaply made. The first one I had to send back (different seller) because the on/off lever broke right off. The on/off lever is a disaster. Plus, it is difficult to put together because of poor threading on the pole sections. If not lined up perfectly, completely off-kilter. This one had all the same problems the first one had. But I decided to keep it because I was able to get it to turn on before the on/off lever broke. I hooked it up to an Alexa smart plug to keep it on so I could avoid dealing with the lever. I'll see how long it lasts. It is so pretty in my living room. Such a shame that it would NOT be worth the gamble for the wise buyer.

Lamp shade part of this product is very poorly made

I love the base and lamp pole part of this product. It’s well made, it’s heavy at the base, there were no visible nicks on the base or pole part of the lamp which is in 3 pieces and easy to assemble. I strongly dislike the lamp shade of this product. It is poorly made. There are many flaws in the “grout” or whatever you call the black filling between the different pieces of glass. There are lines that are very thin, lines that are thick, lines that start out thin but have a very thick area in the line, just not well made at all. There are lines where you can see the black filling has peeled off. For this price and to end up with a shade this flawed, I’m pretty disappointed.

Beautiful Torchiere Lamps

These are beautiful Tifanny/Mission style lamps! I was worried they wouldn’t hold up to their photos, but they are perfect! The materials and hardware (the switch) all seem very sturdy and durable. I bought two for our den and am,so happy with them that I’m buying two more for my music studio! I originally found these lamps on a different website, but before buying them I did a price comparison to all I found on the Internet, and Amazon had the best price!

Gorgeous!

Couldn’t be happier with this purchase. Lamp looks far more expensive than what it cost. Our home is all earthy tones (ochre, brick, tan, etc.) so I was looking for something that had no blues or greens in the glass. The colors in this lamp fit perfectly. Seems to be well made and base is heavy, making the lamp very stable. Took 5 minutes to assemble and didn’t even need to look at directions. Lamp looks great unlit or lit. Beautiful.

Pretty but not balanced/centered/symmetrical.

I liked the looks of the lamp even more when i saw it but it doesnt fit together quite right, the top is a little off center from the pole base. Also the glass isnt even on top. The design and color are good but the craftsmanship is a bit poor.

Just wow!

Absolutely beautiful lamp and very sturdy even though it's made in China. The lamp is tall, so the living room is the best place for it. I also bought two table lamps of the same design; and the entire arrangement looks beautiful together. If you are still undecided, buy it, you won't regret.
