Modern But Not Too Modern

I love these sconces! You can find assembly instructions at the Kenroy Home site if you're interested in that. They're easy to install and the brushed steel finish is really classy. There's also plenty of cord covering to reach your outlet, unless your bed is ridiculously high (or whatever you place it next to). The arms move easily (there's the one that goes to the wall that moves left/right as well as the upper hinge) and the shade is thick but not too thick. So it doesn't feel or look cheap at all, and the round shades look nice and modern without being obnoxious. My only warning is to not buy a bulb until you get the sconce. We had bought some eco-friendly bulbs but they were huge and stuck out the top of the shade, so we got this instead:GE 97469-12 50 Watt-100 Watt-150 Watt Reveal 3-Way A21 Light Bulb, 12-Pack They work perfectly and fit nicely.

It's just ok - visually appealing, but kind of dinky feeling

Well, I have already installed these lamps bedside, so I can't be badmouthing them too much. They look beautiful. Exactly as shown in the image, except that the shade are not as white and when you turn the lights on, they do turn a creamy color. Still, I am fine with the lamp shade and the color, etc. My issue is that the lamp itself is not very sturdy. You need to move it with caution because it feels very unstable (and my electrician is top notch and works for the local school district). Moving the arm from must be done so with caution.

These look lovely....

My husband the electrician liked these. It is part of a freshen up our bedroom redo. I was unsure. But they look stunning. The light they produce is wonderful for my old eyes. The ability to move them in different directions is wonderful. The light shade is very nice and they are considerably larger than I realized. Measurements mean little to me. I did not want tiny lamps. These fit the bill perfectly. I had them in my cart for several months. Finally went down to a price I liked better.

nice lamps

I bought two to put on a wall behind my L-shaped couch. They look very nice and it's great to have three way bulbs. They really put out a lot of light so you may only need one if you have a small room, as I do. They seem to be pretty well made, and the person who put them up for me had no trouble. Delivery was fast, and I had no problems.

Very easy to install

Put it outside on an enclosed porch. Goes well with white wicker. Very easy to install. Have the option to hard wire it. Perfect. Just what I wanted.

Poor quality

This is the 2nd different Kenroy lamp that I have purchased on Amazon. The 1st lamp was easily returned to Amazon. This lamp suffers from poor manufacturing and quality control. I would never buy another Kenroy product.
