Sturdy but a little flawed

The case seems to be sturdy enough and should last for a long time. However the lid latches go not latch in place. They remain loose even thought they are pushed in place. There is no resistance. to the latch. The case is still useable as long as you are careful the lid doesn't come open when the case is picked up with the handle. I expected better quality than that.

Believe those complaints about the label

I purchased this because I have a similar portable file box that I like very much. This one seems fine — although the plastic seems less sturdy than the much older one I already have, and the latches feel lighter and less durable. Overall, I’m quite happy with this purchase. Prior to buying it, I noticed multiple reviews that complained about difficulties removing the label. Believe them! Not only is the label extremely difficult to remove, it’s placed on an area with ridges — meaning adhesive and bits of paper got stuck in the grooves. In the end, I ripped off the top layer of the label; Saturated the remaining adhesive with oil; and Returned in about an hour with alcohol pads — that, with some effort, removed the adhesive completely. It’s a decent file box that I’m happy with. It’s bizarre, though, that a company that specializes in office supplies has chosen to use such problematic labels.

Buy new hanging file folders

The box itself is great for its intended use, but the hanging file folders that are included are not good quality. I’ve only used the file folders a few times and they don’t seem to fit in the box correctly and the plastic bar that is supposed to hold the folders has fallen out of all of them. I’ve tried putting it back in and reusing but just keeps falling out. I would recommend to buy a better quality set of hanging file folders and throwing away the few that come with this

Sticky residue

Good product for the price. The placement of the sticker is front and center. It's impossible to get off without leaving a sticky residue. Tried using soap & water, acetone, alcohol, 409, goo gone and brillo pad.

Ok for the price, but not blown away

Not bad, feels a bit flimsy for the price, but time will tell. One things for sure, they are way better than the cardboard ones, and the fact the handle is recessed is cool for storage and stacking. Would be nice if they came with more hanging folders, especially for the price.
