For $10 it's a Must Get ????

The media could not be loaded. It fits perfectly its got a nice 2 tone plastic where the grabby areas are rubberized for grip and you need grip for this small camera. Adds a nice level of protection but does nothing for heat dissipation ???? as they claim. They did offer this for free to people who bought the Action 2 but you have to sign up and stuff. At $10 just grab one. I hope the next version is improved especially the short recording time due to the overheat issue. And I hope they don't do the activation through their app stuff. Or if they do they need to stop wanting certain permissions like contacts reading my texts and location and stuff. ???? Get the case it's nice.

The missing item that should come standard.

Dji Action cam 2 overheats without it. In fact the camera tells you when you have the case installed that it is extending the battery due to it. If the camera doesn’t overheat by normal operation, then why is this an add on product? Dji does the same stuff with their drones now - releasing subpar and feature lacking products that the consumer has to buy extra stuff to get intended functionality and it’s becoming their new standard. This shouldn’t even be a separate product you buy in a “package” to make the camera work normal.

All such items are overpriced, . . . I expect new items when purchasing as new. Also, this case does nothing to protect the lens.

Had this delivered used and with scratches all over it ? But as in regards to the product itself, it’s very light weight but also looks very cheap and thin The main questions are as follows :- Q1 : Would it survive a drop ? Personally I don’t think it would Q2 : Does it help stop the Action 2 from overheating? Yes but only by a few extra minutes Q3 : Can you use a filter lens while using the case ? Sadly No (a big oversight design flaw on behalf of DJI itself) Q4 : Is it worth the asking price ? Again sadly not, as it looks like something that you would pick up at the 99p store, BUT if you are experiencing serious overheating issues with the Action 2 then this will help you gain them extra few minutes of precious recording time Other options are out there with cases that will help you to, not only protect your Action 2 better with more premium materials used, but will also help with the overheating issues, but will be a few pounds more expensive but in my opinion, very much worth it

Open box item, sold as new

This did not arrive with the Action 2 camera, I now know why. This is an open box item, sold as new. Seal has been broken for a while, as you can see by the pics, protective covers were stuffed into bottom of box. I never really complain, but this is very deceptive.

Free gift from DJI but I'd probably have bought it

Offers a bit of protection to the camera and screen module, provided nothing hits the lens or screen if you drop it. Apparently it helps the camera stay cooler, although I'm not sure how as I'd have thought it acts as an insulator, but I guess it stops the sunlight warming it up as much so it may make a difference. Feels quite tough and you can still mount it with the magnetic clips just as easily.

Kept my camera going for longer

The media could not be loaded. When I got the camera , after 5 mins it turned off , ordered this and I was a bit skeptical cos I didn't really know if it was real or fake ..lol.. but yer.. perfect fit and original stuff
