Just a deck of cards but the box is pretty. Cards aren't foiled.

Bicycle are reliably decent playing cards. The card stock isn't notably thick or thin - just there-enough. The faces are printed big and bold and classy - very nice. The pattern on the card backs is very nice. I'll admit disappointment based on my own expectations (isn't it always so?); I was soooo excited for these shiny-foil-backed playing cards! But they're not... They're just regular acceptable-good cards in a shiny box.

Great Cards

I really appreciate quality playing cards and typically love Bicycle cards. These are one of the favorites that I have ever used - very simple, clean designs that are very easy to read. Been playing games with them for a bit and they still feel great!

The Red is Burgandy- very hard to see the difference between red and black cards

I bought these for my mom. She had a very hard time seeing the red vrs black. The red is almost burgundy. In low light I have the same issue. NOT recommended. I bought 16 packs of cards as gifts this year and this package was a fail.

This Class of Cards is exceptional. (A comparison of Odyssey & Marquis)

This deck and the Marquis look like they were designed as a set. They don't have the same art at all, but they have a very comparable quality to them. The number cards have been re-drawn, but are in the traditional style with larger numbers (no problem playing these without my glasses). The Courts have all custom art, with many of the familiar elements. The coloring is almost entirely Blue and black. The red court cards are blue and black with a single element of red that depicts their suit. The box has a metallicized version of the card backs, but the cards themselves do not have metallic inks. Compared with the Marquis, I like different features of both of them. I think this one scores incrementally higher than the Marquis, but they are still #2 and #3 favorite decks -- and I paid more for my #1 than both these put together.

Amazing Court Cards

I am not a playing card collector, but I have always been a fan of Bicycle cards. I appreciate their newer sets which feature different colors schemes and different art for the court cards and pips. This deck is very unique with amazing court cards. I would certainly give it 5 stars but for the dark maroon diamonds and hearts. I actually prefer the Sea King cards for actual card games. There are some color changes, but not in the pips. The card backs are really cool and the watermark on the face cards is very classy. I would love to see Bicycle design some new Pinochle specific decks!

De los mazos mas bellos y económicos de Bicycle

Considerando el precio, es de las barajas más bonitas, no solo la parte posterior tiene un diseño azul muy genial, todo el mazo frontal tiene un diseño diferente. Y menciono esto porque hay barajas de la misma marca que son bonitas pero solamente cambian el Ass de pikas y los reyes, Reinas, etc, y el resto del mazo tiene un diseño estándar. Este mazo no, todos los números tienen un estilo diferente al estándar, incluso el color rojo es diferente al común. Además es agradable para jugar poker con un estilo diferente.
