The metal part of the barrette looks like aluminum with white spots on top

Wow. This is the first low quality item I've received from ordering online. 1. The barrette can't open and close. 2. Its not the same color as in the picture (I received a half red barrette). 3. The color doesn't gradually change from clear to red.3. The texture of the plastic part of the barrette is rough.4. The metal part of the barrette looks like aluminum with white spots on top. I expected a higher quality barrette for being made in France. Except for the made in France stamp, this barrette looks like it was made in China during the early 80's.
