Update: Vitalsox Italy, VT1211 graduated compression socks are my favorite. Too often the compression socks are nylon thin all the way down. These have more of a real sock feel for your feet but great compression for your legs. I purchased a few more pairs so I can go 2 weeks without having to do work laundry. I have tried many other brands, cycling specific, hiking specific. I do hope these hold up better than Bombas. Bombas used to be my favorite but the heels wore out in less than a year and I paid an arm and a leg for those socks. These are still expensive so initially I docked them 1 star. But none of the other brands have compared to comfort I feel after 12 hours in these. Update: bumped from 4 to 5 stars... I love these socks. I have bought several pairs of compression socks, almost every named sock from review sites. I haven't owned long enough to give a longevity review. I used to love Bombas but after 1 year I was throwing them away for wearing holes in the heels and I had 12 pairs... They were the most comfortable merino wool socks I have owned, but I don't want to spend $400 a year on socks. These are pricey at approximately $13 a pair but they aren't the most expensive...I bought another 2 pair set of these after my first week wearing them. A little expensive, a little small for me. Another company had large/x-large and they were far too big so I'll try these mediums out at work tomorrow. They do have a bit of cushion under them instead of being paper thin like many others I've tried. Also these are nice and loose around the toes without being a cutout toe. They are kind of expensive not figs or Bombas expensive but definitely in the mid range price point.

Great compression socks

I wore these socks for not only a flight but also to walk long distances on vacation. They fit great and were very comfortable. I had no leg pain whatsoever while out and about walking which was 8 miles per day; highly recommend.

Soooo comfortable

Love, love, love these socks. They are so comfortable and the bonus feature is the padding on the bottom of the feet. At times my feet hurt so bad it feels like I'm standing on bare bones but with these socks that hasn't happened. Definitely will be ordering more.

Active socks for helping blood flow

If you are very active using your legs or possible you sit too much and find your lower legs swell some these socks seemed to really help my problem. I would be working Remodeling my home and spent a lot of time going up and down ladders. These seemed to help me. Read this company's website. They have been making sports socks for a long time. Interesting to watch some of their videos. ..... BTW there are many other types out there but this company sold me.

Size variation

I liked the first Medium sized pair I ordered, so I ordered another M size. The seconded pair I received, although marked M was larger than the original pair I ordered. I returned the second pair due to the larger size.

Excellent product!

I've tried several brands of support socks for long trips, air and road, and when working out or working in my shop. Vitalsox is hands down the best! Light, comfortable and effective. I had dealt with plantar issues for several months and after wearing these for a week it totally resolved and hasn't recurred (I've had them about a year). Vitalsox has the best design I've found.

High quality compression socks

Very high quality and good compression without being too tight. Love the slight cushioning at the heel area. Stitching all around is awesome.
