Thick Soft Winter Work Socks

Good value for the price. Husband works outdoors and they kept his feet warm while wearing inside his work boots. Stayed up didn't slide down. Quality was just as good as the other name brands but cheaper in price. I will be buying these Dickie Brand Socks again next Winter

Socks are thin

Socks are thin and not as elastic as the Puma socks I have. They slide down too much.

Don't stay up

They look and feel nice, and they're tall enough, but they don't stay up. I can buy cheaper ones that do what these do, but I bought these because my old Dickies (same length and appearance) still cling to my calves after years of use. These end up bunched around my ankles in minutes. Don't know if the difference is the elastic or the material.

Nice so far

These are warm, and as others have said, rather large. They say 9-12 and I wear a 13 shoe. I normally try to get the larger socks (12-14, etc), but since others have said these run large I figured I'd try them out. They fit my feet perfectly, maybe even a little loose (comfortably loose). I can see how anyone w/ a shoe size less than 12 would have trouble with these. Also, they're starting to pill ever so slightly, and the material is starting get 'hairy'. It's not actually hair, but whatever it's called when the fibers start to stick out a little bit and it overall looks like the fabric's hair. If they hold up for the winter, I'll probably get more.

Warm and comfortable
