Skimpy on the K’Nex but nice box. Need to buy more K’Nex to fill it.

My grandson loves the K’Nex. I have bought him many sets. The ones with the engines are the best. The sets are expensive for how much you get. You need a plastic K’Nex box for a bunch of the sets, cardboard boxes they come in don’t last. He is seven and can use his imagination with these sets.

Kids love them.

These were smaller than I was prepared for. Smaller than both the other sets I bought my grandson & so he as a little trouble connecting the smaller pieces. However, now he can share with his cousin, which was my intent, & they allow for a lot of creativity. On the up side he can grow into the smaller pieces.

Reviewers need to count piece before making claims.

Got these for my newly turned 5year old for his birthday. Already a big hit! They are a tad difficult to snap together at first but he got the hang of it quickly. The box is very big for the amount of pieces and does look underwhelming when you see the bottom but there is definitely 500+ pieces. Prespective of 500 marbles in a bath tub vs a mixing bowl would look very different but that doesn't mean there are less pieces in the tub. It even says in the description that the container is large so you can easily store half done creations to come back and work on again. I have 3 qualms. We inventoried them and we were missing a single piece and unfortunately it was a crucial piece to making 5 of the 10 creations that have step by step instructions. There is one piece that in the parts key and the instructions that is yellow but the physical piece is actually red. The third is that the booklet says to go to a website for missing pieces and it doesn't seem to be a legit website anymore. Not a qualm but just to share the info, when counting out all the pieces we had actually had 6 shapes that combined had 7 EXTRA pieces are well.

Not worth the buy

This says 536 pieces. But it’s a bunch a tiny parts

Very few Knex

I’m not sure how this is 500 knex-I guess most of the pieces are tiny. But they don’t even cover the bottom of the bin. Pretty disappointing for this price.

not as many pieces as I expected

The tub is really big but when you open it up, there aren't very many pieces inside. It is fine and has worked well for my students. Just disappointed in the packaging.

Misleading box

The media could not be loaded. My kiddo was excited to get his first box of Knex, but we were so disappointed when we opened the box and the pieces barely covered the bottom of the box. I was also shocked that 522 pieces added up to so little.

'522' pieces

Great first set for my 5 year old but Lots of the '522' pieces are tiny, hardly used pieces making it difficult to make more than any one figure at a time. They should be replaces with more lengths and connections rather than being used as filler to put a larger number on the side of the box

The pieces are small unlike those shown on the product page, it is confusing. I thought they are much bigger

Absolutely love Knex. We bought this set to add to what we bought for our daughter when she was about 7 (she’s now 32!).
