Great gift for birthday!

We bought this as a birthday gift for a friend! We got a call saying it was the first present she played with/crafted after the party! I’d say it was it hit!!

Great craft for kids to make and see crystals grow

This is a 2 day project as the crystals need time to grow and then it has to dry before painting the unicorn. It is well worth the wait and my kids loved every step of the project..

Daughter loves it

My daughter absolutely loved this unicorn. After reading reviews, I didn’t expect any crystals to form, especially since it is awkwardly shaped and would need a lot more solution in any bowl/Tupperware I have to be fully submerged. I had to lay it on it’s side but overnight the one side looks amazing! The dye wasn’t quite what I would’ve liked but my 4 year old LOVES it. Maybe the company will consider adding a container to special fit the unicorn and solution to make it turn out better.

Beautiful,Easy & Fun - Must Buy

Bought this as a rainy day activity for my 6 year old niece. And I am so glad I did!! It’s an interesting DIY stem project that shows the process of crystallization. The best part is you can paint it however you like. It was very very easy to do. Leave the figurine in the solution over night , and make sure you don’t shake it. In a few hours you will start noticing the crystals forming , by morning it will be ready. I let it sit for some time to dry and then we began to paint. It came with a big poster, 3 color droppers,1 silver paint, one brush , and color mixing pallet, glitter packet & a wood stick. I’ve attached some pictures to show the process step by step. Final verdict - BUY IT!! You will not regret it. The Unicorn comes out beautiful after it dries up.

Works pretty well.

We left ours overnight in the solution and we got a pretty even coating of crystals. I was hoping the crystals would grow larger (as on the picture) when we leave it alone for another 24 hours but the salt just started to build sediments on the bottom of the container. One important thing to know is that crystals won't be well in areas you touched with your bare hands. We washed our hands properly and then handled the unicorn only with a tissue.
