Brilliant solution!

For the last 30 years iPad and ironing board. It was hidden in a small closet recessed between studs in the wall and love them. But moving into my home recently, there was no ability to put one in. I don’t iron that much, but when I do, They are three types of things that I iron: shirts, pants, and napkins when we entertain. At first, I looked for a regular size ironing board, and was dismayed to find that not one on Amazon have excellent reviews. So I look for alternatives and found this Joseph and Joseph folding small ironing board. I read the reviews and they were all excellent and decided to take a chance. This is perfect! I put it on top of my bureau in my master bedroom, plugged in my iron, and tried it out on my husband’s shirt, pants, and one napkin, and it did a great job! Then I simply folded it back up, put it into a closet in my master bath, with my iron on the side and I’m all set to go for the next time! I am thrilled with a solution.

I love this ironing board

I gave up ironing most things during lockdown and now only iron really creased trousers or shirts. We recently had an upstairs bathroom converted into a utility room so the washing machine is now sensibly upstairs where the dirty washing goes. To save having a bulky ironing board taking up room in there this beautifully designed product sits nicely on the worktop tucked away in a corner. Obviously using it on a worktop you don't have the option of your ironing hanging down over one side but honestly it's not too much of a hassle for the few things I now bother pressing. It's a doddle to open and fold up again and this might be just me but the bright yellow and metallic blue look really nice together. Another Jospeh Joseph product that's practical, very stylish and worth every penny.

Overall happy with this product, just a couple of minor drawbacks

Overall, it’s a clever design to open and fold away, with the slot to store the iron. Only a couple of things I don’t like: 1) I’m not able to loop the iron cable around the base of the iron - as it then doesn’t fit so well in the slot. So instead I have left the cable lose in the slot 2) With the design of the legs I can’t pull the item of clothing through, to iron it, so have to resort to iron it flat ontop. Not great for items like dresses or skirts. But that’s the compromise I suppose, for having a compact intoning board. Generally happy with this purchase.

So light and compact

We put this quite high up on the wall out of the way and it’s not too heavy to lift down even with the iron in it. Really easy to unfold and use. Love this item
